How did you meet and get engaged?
We met online and Bob proposed in our house. I was totally surprised! He got the ring made by Alchemy Jewellers.

Describe your wedding:
We had a lilac and purple theme, which was brought to life by Balla Florists. We chose nostalgic cartoons for our table plan, by Table Plan Designs.

Tell us about your bridal look:
I only bought my dress the day before my wedding. My original dress was ruined by the seamstress, but Belladonna Bridal saved the day! Hair and makeup Grainne O Doherty of Makeup Matters. She did an amazing job!

What did your bridesmaids wear?
My flowers girls wore lilac dresses from Monsoon.

What was your ceremony like?
We had a deeply personal, spiritual ceremony in Glenlo by the amazing Enda Harte.

Tell us about your wedding venue:
We chose Glenlo Abbey. The staff were amazing. It’s a 5 star Manor House Hotel on a beautiful golf course. Stunning food and such attentive staff.

What is your favourite memory from your wedding day?
Our favourite memory was seeing all our friends and family having a good time!

Have you got any advice for other couples?
Get your dress fittings completed well in advance. It’s not worth waiting to see if you lose an extra pound or two.
