Thanks Kenko - just replied back MrsDecBride07 - PM me aswell if you need any info on anything. For one, if you're looking for a good chipper - I cannot recommend Cunninghams Fish and Chip shop out in Tramore enough. The chips are homemade and chunky, the fish is as fresh as could be, and their 1/4 pounders are just yum (the only take away I've been in that can beat my favourite one at home) :o0 :o0 The Spam Watchdogs on this site are gonna be out for me now saying I work for cunninghams and am looking for free advertising!

hi there, we moved from Dublin to Drogheda about 5 years ago, H2b's parents and sisters are closeby so for awhile it was fine, always out having drinks etc, I found it hard enough to make friends but find that I'm so busy working all day that when I get home I dont want to be going back out (lazy I know) we have 2 dogs which we got about 3 years ago and I do find that out walking with them you get to meet different people, not friends really, but it's nice to stop for a yap every now and then, also the good weather tends to bring people out from their houses to the gardens etc, which is also good. I took up salsa classes but tbh, there was right auld cow there that kept secluding me so I gave them up, I often do voluntary work for Animal Rescue centre, but tend to still have my friends in Dublin that we arrange nights out etc, it can be difficult having to arrange things months in advance when some days what I'd love more is to call in for an auld yap and a cuppa, but i'm happy these days. i also go to the gym and you end up talking to all sorts there too, atleast you dont feel completly alone when you can stop and have a yap on the street - hang in there

Dee24, we are moving out of our lovely 2 bedroom house in Waterford in the next months we have bought a house. Its very central and a lovely house, we have been very happy here for nearly 2 years. Let me know if you are interested in looking at it and I will pass you on the details of the agency we rent from. All going well with our house move it will be available middle of next month. Loads of us from waterford here :wv

Hey I'm a newbie to the Deise as well its hard making friends in your 30's alright I stay at home with DS and bit bullet in Jan and joined a mum and baby group it nice to socialise during the day but I do miss girlfriends that I could just call to or get drunk with. Think I've gotten v settled since I moved here :eek A
