We don?t even know where to start, couldn?t of been happier with the whole process. Rebecca & her team were just incredible through out all of our planning. She completely ?got? what I wanted and delivered it even better than I could of imagined. Rebecca, Clementine and the whole team were fantastic when it came to the unfortunate point where we had to postpone but also dealt with it in the best possible way & making sure we were at ease at home. They all went above and beyond for us. We got our dream wedding day in the end. There are no words to describe how grateful we are for everything & we are so happy we chose Rebecca & team for our big day and I would recommend them to absolutely everyone thinking of getting married in the Algarve. Weddings by Rebecca made our dream wedding day happen this year in October. With restrictions on guest numbers, constant changes in local and national lockdowns and quarantine rules, Rebecca and her team stood up to the plate and delivered the most beautiful day of our lives. We received 100% support from the team when we decided to have the wedding in October and not to postpone. Suppliers, recommended by Weddings by Rebecca, were just as supportive to our needs and were extremely accommodating to all the changes we needed to ensure the day could go ahead. I had a very specific vision of the wedding day and Rebecca, who is extremely dedicated, passionate and full of creativity, made my vision a reality. She went above and beyond to make every single detail perfect. Rebecca was with me on the morning of the wedding. She took away all the pre-wedding nerves and I felt so at ease knowing she was there by my side.

Clementine was our main contact throughout the whole planning process. She truly was our guardian angel - her honesty, positivity and professionalism took away any wedding planning stress and we could sit back and watch it all fall into place. She was organised with all of our suppliers, budgeting and our constant changes due to the pandemic. She always had our best interests at heart and would always find the time for us to meet if we needed reassurance or had any queries about the big day.

Both Clementine, Rebecca and the team fought for us to have our ceremony location due to restrictions at the time. They were 100% committed to us and we are so grateful we had them with us in such an unprecedented time to make the most important day of our lives into a reality. The wedding day itself flowed as smoothly as an orchestra, and I wish I could relive it over and over again! Thank you!

We had the most amazing and beautiful wedding thanks to Rebecca and her team - who are just the loveliest people. Due to the pandemic our wedding in May was cancelled so we chose to elope. On the day Rebecca and her lovely team were like our little cheerleaders and made us both feel great. Rebecca and the team have great contacts for suppliers in the Algarve so that's a definite plus - we were so pleased with them all. Rebecca is also amazing when it comes to design so if that's something you really care about then I would suggest going with her and her team. Thanks to all the WBR team! The team at Algarve Weddings by Rebecca are truly worth their weight in gold and then some. We just had our wedding, a week ago in the beautiful Casa do Lago and we can truly say we had the wedding of our dreams. From the get go Rebecca and the team were on the ball. I can?t express enough how amazing they were to us over the year and put together the best day of our lives. Everything they did exceeded my expectations and I hold them in such high regards. I wouldn?t hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is thinking of getting married in the Algarve.

Before I got in touch with the team, I found the whole getting married abroad completely overwhelming and daunting and I didn?t know where to start. I bumped into Rebecca when I went to do a viewing of a venue in Portugal and I had an instant good gut feeling. I felt she knew what she was talking about and I could see she had a genuine passion and love for her job. I got her details and got in contact and before the end of the next week the wedding was already coming together.

Their local knowledge and insight of venues, bands, florist, vendors to finer details and advice is invaluable and reliable. They take out all the hard work and connect you with the right people for you.

Clementine who is on the team was my absolute angel over the past couple of months. She was so so amazing to me and I can never thank her enough for coordinating our day. I didn?t worry about any of the ?ins and outs? of the day or the ?what if this happens scenarios? as I had full trust in her and I knew if anything did come up, she could handle it, no sweat! She was on the ball for every aspect, professional, genuine, has a positive attitude and real creative flare . On the day of the wedding Clementine was always by my side the whole time for support, advice, direction and I found it a great comfort knowing that someone like Clem was guiding the day and all I had to do was enjoy it and take it all in. She had our best interest at heart the whole time and there wasn?t anything that was a problem for her. She?s an absolute gem and Dave and I are so lucky to have had her as one of our planners.

There is months and months of work that goes into planning the wedding day and Alice and Lee who are also on the team both played a vital role in this, from budgeting to spreadsheets finding vendors emails etc they made life so much easier for us when it came to all this. I know both of them helped so much on the actual day of the wedding too, helping set up and making it look perfect.

Alice and Clementine stayed the entire day of the wedding and then late to the night just making sure all was going along perfectly. My guest commented to me days after how amazing they were on the day.

Overall their attention to detail, high standards, initiative, professionalism and personal touches are impeccable. I CANNOT RECOMMEND REBECCA ENOUGH! She put up with me for 2 long years of planning my perfect day. She deserves a medal just for that! From start to finish she was absolutely amazing. From the bigger things right down to the smallest details she was absolutely fab. On the day, she was there to calm me down and make sure everything run how it should. My whole day was absolutely perfect. All the suppliers she booked in for me were great, and communication throughout the whole 2 years was spot on. I can?t fault anything and I?m sad that it?s all over for me now! If you are looking to get married in the Algarve, Rebecca is 100% your girl. Thanks for everything Rebecca, I?m sad not to speak to you everyday anymore lol x

We were let down so much by this company. We even lost out on money in the end when we had to terminate our contract. The lack of communication was dreadful. 3 months went by without contact after our first meeting and I was left to secure our venue, music and photographer myself. We took on board that these things can happen so gave the benefit of the doubt but nothing much changed and we were left with no option to find another planner. When I contacted to say I was terminating someone who I had never spoken to or had contact before replied with a feeble apology. There was no effort to reconcile. I will look forward to the response I get from this review as it will probably be the quickest one I've had. I've also read a review below where a response was given saying the brides judgement was "clouded". Again this is so unprofessional and shows the level of unwillingness to accept that this company has let brides down at one of the most important times of their lives.

I cannot recommend Rebecca enough! From our first meeting we knew straight away she was the best at what she does!
From the phone calls and emails she was always there to help and reassure even with the little things.
Everything went so perfect on the day we couldn't have asked for more. From the moment Alice arrived at the house to meeting up with Rebecca and Lorraine at the ceremony to the reception, they all made us feel so calm and relaxed.
Rebecca and her team went above and beyond to make the whole day run so smoothly. We were both so happy to have had them there on the day and we are so grateful for everything.

Sadly, we are back home and I am back in work. I cannot believe it is all over?

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you all for organising the wedding of our dreams!

I am not literate enough to put in to words how I feel about our wedding weekend, but I can honestly say, it was the best weekend of my life. You and your team provided an unbelievable service and I cannot thank you enough.

I will write to Gisela and Melanie separately to thank them for a first class service. I think they had a huge part in making the weekend go as well as it did. Both the quality of the food and the impeccable service they provided throughout was simply faultless.

If I could do it again, I would?ve started it a couple of hours earlier to make the day longer, and I wouldn?t?ve bothered with those damn silk flowers!!!

I feel so sad that it is all over now, but we are already talking about our 1 year anniversary party!

I would urge anyone not to use Weddings by Rebecca. I had a fantastic wedding day however I feel this was despite of them. Throughout the planning they were unresponsive and unorganized. They forgot to book the band and some other vendors despite confirming they had done so. The planner that I was told was going to be at my wedding on the day never showed and went to a different wedding instead. This meant everything I had explained to her and all the additional small touches I had put months into planning and organising went to waste. It was never communicated to me that she wouldnt come despite me meeting with her a few days before. The planner that did eventually arrive at my house was exceptionally late and nearly made the whole wedding late. I am a very organised and relaxed bride and really didn't need much from weddings by Rebecca which made it more shocking that they couldn't handle the little responsibility I gave them. I sent them a complaint over 3 weeks ago to which I am still waiting for a response as they wanted to look into it. When wedding planning I counted a good response time from them as 4 weeks so I guess I should be more patient. I thought as my wedding got closer this might improve as they of course have to prioritise but this was not the case.

We have just arrived home from our honeymoon, the last piece of our wedding puzzle. We have had time to process the last number of months fully and all we can say is a massive THANK YOU for making our wedding day the most amazing, special day that we could have ever imagined.
We would not have been able to pull this off without your help. You guys are amazing at what you do and I would highly recommend your service to everyone that requires it.
From start to finish it was everything that we hoped for and more. Each one of our guests have said hands down it was the best wedding that there were ever at. The food was exquisite and the drinks were flowing throughout.
I would love to write a review and I have tried on a number of occasions but was unsuccessful.

Amazing!! That is one way to start...
It is so so hard to put into words what Weddings by Rebecca did for us! We had never been to Portugal before but upon being recommended by a friend and finding Weddings by Rebecca online we instantly had a good feeling about her! So laid back and nothing was ever too much, Rebecca and her team stayed within our budget and gave us the best of everything! From the unbelievable location in Penina, food (Pickled Carrot) to photographer (Blush) our pastor and light decorator (Jon) florist (Ely Flores) cake (cake shopsm) etc! They recognised what was important for us to make our day perfect, and made sure every need was met and then some!
We were planning our wedding with Rebecca for around 2 years through emails so I can confidently say she knew everything we wanted and our style she got it perfect.
When we arrived in Portugal...wow! Rebecca made us feel like the only couple ever getting married in the world! The attention on us, from herself, and her team, Andrea- I love you! It was second to none. They made so many things possible that we didn?t think would have been! I think of our day and tears come to my eyes because they made it so perfect. Rebecca and Andrea stayed by our sides from first thing in the morning to night- even for the j?ger ???? .
Our day went so quick but every second of it wouldn?t have been possible without Rebecca and her knowledge, love and dedication! We wanted our wedding day to be laid back and fun and it was just that thanks to Rebecca and her team for making it happen and making everything go smoothly! ????
We had the most happy and amazing day and wish we could do it all again! Rebecca is really lovely and I would totally trust to leave everything to her to plan and create the most magical wedding you could wish for.

Rebecca and the team organised our perfect day, nothing was too much trouble. We met Rebecca a year before the big day and started planning there and then.
From the amazing beach ceremony to the spectacular villa reception everything was magical.
Rebecca was hands on from start to finish keeping me calm and looking after everyone.
The surprises kept on coming and our guests have told us that it?s the best wedding they have ever been too. Even after the wedding Rebecca has helped me with questions I have. I wish we could do it all over again.

?The 24hr wedding?!! After spending 16 months organising and planning our wedding with Rebecca and her team, due to torrential rain we moved our wedding day forward by a day 2 DAYS before the wedding! We thought it would never be possible, but Rebecca and her talented team made it happen. It was just the most fabulous day, and none of our guests even suspected that it was our plan b. We had to change our ceremony from being on the beach, to the gardens of our reception venue, as the sea was too rough to transport our guests to. Their attention to detail is amazing and our wedding looked even better than we imagined! Rebecca designed our ceremony with less than 48 hours to order/make everything required. We had the cherry blossom trees as our ceremony arch, which were just beautiful. We had a strict budget which Rebecca helped us stick to, by making suggestions but never pushing anything onto us. They pointed us in the direction of photographers, make-up, hair stylists, cake makers, florists, etc, and coordinated all of these for meetings and for the day itself. All of our guests had the best time and said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We can?t thank you enough for the most wonderful, magical day!!

Our guests (& us) said it is the "BEST wedding they have ever been to" thanks to all the preparation and hard work Rebecca, Racquel, Faye, Lee and all put into making our magical day. Pastor Jon who conducted our service was amazing... he brought such a personal touch to our very special day. so too was S?nia Marreiros from The Cake Shop who provided us with a tower of amazing desserts. Anyone wanting to get married in the Algarve should choose "Algarve Weddings by Rebecca" .. you won't be disappointed.

Obviously.. along the way there were some "blips" but at the end of the day it was the most amazing day of our lives and we couldn't have done it without Rebecca's team.

Horrendous from start to finish! DO NOT USE!
None of the team respond to emails,at one stage I went three months without a reply despite sending numerous emails. Three weeks before wedding i still had no hair/makeup/transport sorted -had to end up finding my own suppliers. I spent over double my budget,they do nothing they stipulate they will do in contract. On the morning of the wedding they stopped in with me for about 5 mins then left so when i came out of the hotel and had no transport there to take me to wedding there was noone there to help me and i ended up standing in my dress at the hotel reception for about 20 mins while make up artist sorted it. rebecca was at the ceremony and then i never saw her again.one of her team was asking me who i wanted sitting where atthe too table while we were having our welcome drinks!now were back home and yet again cannot get a response about my marriage certificate which i still havent got!ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!unfortunately for some reason its really hard to find bad reviews for these planners which i find curious as i know lots of other brides have the same issues that i did.so get posting girls..i wish i had read some real reviews and saved myself the hassle of using weddings by rebecca!
the only positive i could give is they introduced me to nickie davies at blush photography and sonia from so good who made our cake!both FANTASTIC!can also highly recommend mandy ware make up,orlando horta video and silvio switha!staff at suites alba also magnificent.my wedding was fantastic but it was thanks to these people who are amazing at what they do!

It was the BEST DAY EVER! Rebecca and her team done such a fabulous job on the day and the lead up to it. From even the first time we meet Rebecca when we travelled over to Portugal to meet a couple of planners/ venues she made a great impact on us as she made the time to get to know us as a couple. As we were on a tight budget and trying to keep everything under a certain price (as weddings you always find little extras you have to pay for) the team helped us keep within budget right until the end. For me Rebecca's eye for d?cor was what was key with the extra little bits on the day to make it look even more beautiful. On the day it flowed like a dream and I didn't feel one bit stressed thanks to them.

Rebecca and her team were fantastic!! The best decision we made during our wedding planning for sure. I was a little nervous when we first started out but Rebecca was amazing from day one, so patient and no question was too much.
Her recommendations for other services were spot on... we had the day we could only of dreamed of and that's all down to Rebecca and her team. She is honestly worth her weight in gold! ... I still can't believe how beautiful our ceremony setting was and then onto the transformation of our venue... I mean wow!! All of our guests were mesmerized! There are not enough words to thank Rebecca for her amazing support during our wedding planning and all her hard work on the day with her team. If I could pass on any advise to future brides .. everything happens on Portuguese time (slowly) just be patient Rebecca's team work so hard behind the scenes and they will chase the answers you need. At the start of our wedding journey we were filled with confidence and enthusiasm after meeting Rebecca in Portugal 11 months before our wedding. Our budget wasn't a lot but that didn't put Rebecca off telling us everything she could plan and things she 'has' to make our wedding magical. Once the real planning started happening and suppliers were being recommended to us it became clear that our relatively small budget was not going to go very far. The communication was very slow and somewhat frustrating as we wanted to know exactly how much the total price was without hidden extras. Beware of the hidden extras. Especially VAT if paying direct to Algarve Weddings. Get it in writing what the price actually includes and ask 'do we pay extra for that?' because the chances are you do even though you may think 'it's part of the deal', and no one wants a bill the night before the wedding! On the day though Rebecca and her team were a god send. The groom and his men felt like everything ran so smoothly nothing was rushed and I was so relaxed throughout the whole day it was a dream come true. The venue looked perfect in every way and the photographers, videographer, hair, make-up and music (string trio and DJ) were second to none! I can't thank them all enough for everything they all did for us on our 'best day ever!'

All I can say is that my wedding was everything I dreamed of and more.

We had the most perfect wedding and it was all thanks to Rebecca and her lovely team.
We were really anxious about getting married abroad as we decided to book the wedding at such short notice and therefore did not have time to fly out and meet any wedding planners.
From the first phone call I had with Rebecca she put my mind at rest and I knew we had chosen the right wedding planner for us.
I want to say a special thank you to Lee for always replying so promptly to our emails especially when our birth certificates ended up in Germany!! Nothing was too much trouble for Rebecca and her team and even when we decided 3 days before the wedding to have caterers come to the villa, Rebecca sorted it all for us. All of the suppliers Rebecca uses from videographer to hair and make up were fantastic and some of the nicest people we have met.
Rebecca has an amazing talent and transformed our villa into the most amazing wedding venue. We both had the most amazing, stress free day and we would highly recommend Rebecca to anyone thinking of getting married in the Algarve.

My self and gavin would highly recommend rebbeca and there team! We had amazing wedding day! From the lady of the rock, where the ceremony was held, to the villa were we held the reception! They done a wonderful job, the catering was tops!! The flowers was gorgeous! All the little touchs that were added to our wedding was amazing you could see all the hard work that went into the day! Rebecca and her team arranged the wedding day of our dreams - it was even more than we could have hoped for. It was perfect from start to finish and we have been told by friends and family that we have set the bar high for weddings! It can be nerve wracking arranging your wedding from the UK but from the first time we met Rebecca we knew we were in safe hands. We cannot recommend Rebecca and her team enough.

We wanted a quiet wedding with just the two of us but we worried being alone would make it less special, Rebecca and her team ensured it all ran smoothly and was absolutely the most special day ever. There was no hastle no fuss she organised it all perfectly. Her team of makeup artist and hair stylist were so friendly. Definitely would recommend.

Our wedding was more amazing and perfect than we could have ever hoped or dreamed of. Rebecca and her lovely team including suppliers were all fantastic and nothing was ever too much for them. Rebecca puts you at ease and her creativity for design is what makes her weddings so unique, personal and absolutely beautiful. Our venue was truly transformed and I know that we chose the perfect wedding planner in Rebecca and her team. Cannot fault the service we received on the run up to the wedding and on the wedding day was the best day we could have asked for but the after service unfortunately has not been the best we are STILL waitin for something to be sent back to us over a a year later even after continuous emails being sent. Something personal and of importance to us makes it even more frustrating. I really hope people have had better experience than us.

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole "Algarve Wedding" experience.... delighted to be invited initially and wondered if it would be worth the extra expense of travelling abroad ...however Rebecca organised a truly wonderful memorable event ... the atmosphere was so relaxed and was seamless in its organisation...i had brilliant experience .... I've been recommending Rebecca and her team to all my friends and if i can get a woman to marry me i'll be using Rebecca for sure!!!

Planning a destination wedding was a bit nerve wrecking since we would arrive only 2 days before our wedding day. Rebecca and her team made it easy to visualize and plan our day with ease even from miles away. All the vendor recommendations from the florist, the baker, hair/makeup and photographers were perfect, such a great team. The Pickled Carrot was a recommendation for the caterer, and we could not be happier, not only was the food great but John and his staff were friendly, fun, and professional. Rebecca has a good team on her side, they executed our vision of a small intimate beach wedding perfectly and the work they did to decorate the villa for the reception was out of this world. What can I say, Rebecca and her team arranged our perfect wedding. From start to finish, they were an email, phone call away. I did have doubts trying to arrange a wedding from the UK without visiting any venues, suppliers etc but thanks to Rebecca and her team they did everything for us and more, and I wasn't at all stressed :)
The whole day and night went smoothly and was just perfect. Rebecca and her team are amazing and in my opinion the best in what they do and recommend them highly, if I ever get the chance to renew my vows these guys would be first my choice.

I couldn't have asked for a better girl than Rebecca to plan my wedding. She was amazing in every aspect of our wedding always on the other end on the phone for me day or night. On the wedding day itself she worked nineteen hours with a crazy bunch of Irish and never took the smile off her face. Everyone at the wedding could not believe all the surprise touches she put on for us. Not only was she the best wedding planner EVER but i gained a good friend in Rebecca and can not thank her enough for making our wedding day the best day of our lives.

Being so far away in the UK was daunting at first but the first class service that Rebecca and her team provided eased any concerns that we had.

Rebecca (and her team) did EVERYTHIG to help us plan our special day! She thought of things we hadn't even considered. Even when we cut the budget as unexpectedly found out we were pregnant, she didn't turn her attention away from us and carried on treating us like we were paying for the most expesnsive wedding going! I got married on 23rd May 2015 and from the moment I contacted Rebecca at Algarve Weddings By Rebecca, I knew she was special. Rebecca and her team went above and beyond to ensure our day was purely magical. They 100% succeed and more so. She really is an amazing woman and I don't know what i would have done without her. i had read about Rebecca via on online forum like this!!! From the very beginning she was always on hand to offer advice and always made me feel at ease! The endless list of suppliers she works with gives you so many different options to chose from!!
Again when we arrived in Portugal she again put not only myself and my husband at ease but all of my guests commented on how professional, friendly and down to earth she is.

We had our wedding in Vilamoura Portugal September 2014 and what a wedding it was! In fact it was much much much more than we ever expected it to be . The guests have not stopped talking about the wedding to this day , they have all said it was the best wedding they had even been to, this was all down to Rebecca and her team. Even though they had so many weddings to arrange they made us feel as though we were the only couple getting married and put so much effort into making sure our day ran smoothly. I just want to take this chance to thank Rebecca and the team for all their amazing hard work and professionalism throughout the whole build up to our wedding. We never expected our day to be as amazing as it was, the entire day was perfect! I am so glad I came across Rebecca when first googling 'weddings in the Algarve'. I could not have imagined a better wedding planner. From the first planning weekend when we first met and she showed us round a wide range of locations and suppliers, she was fabulous. She is so organised, creative and with amazing attention to detail.

On the second weekend when we came back to the Algarve to finalise food, flowers, wine, hair and make-up etc she made us feel very much at ease, knowing that all our arrangements were in great hands.

It was also all the additional extras like helping friends and family with accommodation options, restaurant choices for our pre-wedding meal that added to the experience. The actual day was amazing. I didn't have to worry about a thing - apart from actually walking down the aisle. I was confident that everything was in professional hands and Rebecca exceeded my expectations in making it truly the best day ever, not just for me but also for all my friends and family. All the little extras and finishing touches that she kept secret were great!!

Rebecca made our wedding a total dream come true- it was the best day of our lives and unforgettable from start to finish. Rebecca organised everything so well and coordinated everything so that we didn't have to think about a single thing.. Being from a big family, we have experienced many gorgeous weddings .... But wow We had 40 guests travelled over fromLiverpool and Rebecca helped us with organising everything from the accommodation for our guests right down to hairdressing appointments! The day was beautifully organised and so personal to us - we were able to combine our unique musical contributions from our guest performers with a carefully arranged musical ensemble which Rebecca also arranged for us. Our venue was spectacular and I have to say wasn't our original choice. After careful consideration and guidance from Rebecca our venue was perfect! The views were breathtaking and the meal and service was also incredible - this was so special. I cannot describe our wedding in any other words than 'a fairy tale' come true. Thank you so much Rebecca - you are extremely creative and talented - exceptional work and every single guest described our wedding as precious and some saying
"This was the best wedding I've ever been to in my whole life".

Our wedding was beyond perfect. The attention to detail was unbelievable.... She just got us as a couple and made our wedding so special.
