Introducing The Kooky Ukes, Ireland’s quirkiest, hippiest and happiest wedding band. We’re an all-singing, all ukulele trio who turn tracks inside out and serve them back to you with a totally new vibrant flavour. From classic songs to contemporary tracks, we reinvent them in ways never imagined.

Our greatest fears are humdrum “run of the mill” wedding entertainment and predictability, so we gotcha’ something that little bit more unique, special and fun-driven, an alternative to the norm. Uke are very welcome.

We booked the Kooky Ukes for our Humanist ceremony and afternoon drinks reception and we were delighted we did. Their style is exactly what we wanted - fun and 100% professional. We selected the setlist for the ceremony and they looked after the reception setlist. Both elements were perfect and our guests commented on how good, and a little bit different they were - and this was what we wanted! They are the perfect group if you wanted something a little less formal than the usual wedding singer or string quartet. Plus they appeal across the generations. I would highly recommend this band for your wedding!

I was waiting to get our photos through as I thought our photographer might have a few of the band that I could send along side a belated but big thank you. Unfortunately, she only took one photo of the lads!

We had a fantastic day and the music from the ceremony to the reception was exactly the vibe we were looking for. Our family and friends, when asked about the day, immediately said ?that band was great, where did you find them??. The ukulele sound was beautiful and we couldn?t have asked for a more beautiful ceremony with not a dry eye in the house by the end.

We booked The Kooky Ukes for our drinks reception on the day of our wedding. The guys were so good and played a great range of music to keep all our guests entertained. They were flexible with the set up of our venue and moved with the crowd downstairs to continue the entertainment. We were delighted to have them at our wedding and we cant recommend them enough to any other couples looking for a lively and professional service for their special day.

We know that it was not an easy time for you but you definitely made things so much easier for us & we are extremely grateful, especially with so many date changes & the last minute confirmation. The wedding reception could not have run more smoothly & the Kooky Ukes were an absolutely huge hit with everyone. We loved their music & were just so sorry that they could not have played all night for us!!!!! :-)

Hi Joanna,

I just wanted to email to say a massive Thank You to the band for performing at our wedding on September 12th in Brooklodge. The guys did an amazing job performing at our ceremony and drinks reception. I cannot wait to get our video back so I can hear them perform all over again.
We've had so many of our guests come back to us saying how much they loved the band and thought they gave the day such a fun, relaxed atmosphere, which is exactly what we wanted.

From day one I had a great feeling about these guys, obviously I?d watched the videos of them and could see they were amazing. But when emailing to book them the correspondence was quick, professional and friendly. When planning a wedding I found some suppliers slow to respond which would stress me out, however this was never the case with the kooky ukes. Plus on the day they were amazing, creating a really cool chilled vibe for our drinks reception. We can?t recommend them enough ????????

Well when we picked the Station House Hotel and wanted an outdoor wedding , we really wanted a quirky , original , something different for our ceremony and reception drinks .. with the kooky Ukes you get all this. From the moment our guests heard them at the ceremony , untill the reception drinks where finished , people feel in love with these new , quirky music they play . They new how to play to the crowd and people where dancing away while drowning the prosecco , their play list is huge and they had every song we wanted .. they helped make our quirky , rustic wedding a dream come through ! The Kooky Ukes really set the atmosphere for our day, and allowed us to make it very personal. From the ceremony itself (afterwards everyone was saying that their version of Galileo is better than the original), to being able to walk out afterwards to a more upbeat, alternative song, to adding some fun to our reception, the Kooky Ukes were great! We still watch the videos on YouTube to bring us back. Couldn't recommend them enough!

I just wanted to drop a quick email to say thanks to the guys. They played an absolute blinder at our wedding in Ballybeg on 21st April 2017. The ceremony music was beautiful and the music at the drinks reception was the perfect way to get the party started. Our guests were all blown away by them, so much so, one of my friends has gone and bought herself a ukulele and is starting lessons!! I just wanted to get in touch and give you guys some feedback after our wedding on 19th August in the Farnham Estate. My husband and I didn't get to spend much time with the guys sadly but they played songs during our ceremony which were absolutely fantastic!! As soon as I heard them play I was over the moon (although I cried!) I could never have imagined it all coming together so well but it was exactly the feel that I was going for and they created such a happy vibe. All the guests have since made contact with us to say how fantastic the guys were, people were getting requests and others were up dancing! It was a lovely sunny day so the windows were open in the ceremony room and as we were out having photos taken I could hear the music drifting into the grounds. I really cant express how amazing it all was and I wanted to say a massive big thank you to the guys for everything they did on the day. I didn't get to introduce myself to them, once I came back inside it was all over but I just wanted them to know how much I enjoyed their performance and am looking for any excuse I can to book them again!Thanks for all your help leading up to the wedding and again - THANK YOU for such a fab day, the guys really pulled it all together for me and it was honestly the best day of my life. I am embarrassed to say that I am only getting to thank you all now for playing at my wedding in Longueville House on 23rd June 2016! The band was exactly how I imagined; talented, up-beat and good fun in general. All of which I thought suited the tone of the wedding down to the ground. Stella, you wowed everyone in mass with that unbelievable voice of yours! To the DJ, you played all our requested songs and had everyone flying til the end of the night. Everyone just wanted to stay partying all night (and did, in the residents bar;)). The lads were great, all guest are still raving about them as they set the tone which we wanted.
To summarise they were great musicians, wonderful vocals and perfect song choices played in their unique own way. They really picked up the vibe we wanted for our BBQ and played what guests wanted to hear. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.Thanks again, Alan

What can we say? You promised us music that would be different lively and something that our guests would remember and you were spot on!! I cant tell you how many guests raved about your performance and I know your were bombarded with compliments afterwards from our friends and family. Amazing band!!! Quirky, happy, lively, just made our crowd so happy and the floor was full even though we were only at the drinks reception part! Lovely guys and booking team too, would highly recommend
