The band is made up of Irish and Italian international musicians who have been performing at weddings for years! Not only are they perfect for your wedding, they’re also great for all your pre- and post-wedding parties.
Meet the founding members of the Waistcoats:
Paul Staunton (guitar/mandolin/vocals) is a Dublin native who comes from a family with a rich musical background. He also lived and played in New York for many years, while Sal (vocals/guitar) is a German-born Italian showman who can be heard occasionally in voice over projects on German TV. Sal and Paul have been performing together for more than 9 years and will go the extra mile for you!
Don't need the entire band, but prefer a duo instead? Sal and Paul are happy to oblige! The Waistcoats can also do acoustic sets as a duo, trio or with the full band to accompany your aperitifs before the wedding, or a pizza party the day after. We had the pleasure of having The Waistcoats at our wedding as well as the day after too. They are simply amazing and had everyone up dancing as soon as they started, so many of our guests are still talking about how good they were!
They were so easy to communicate with and were so helpful which made planning a wedding from abroad much easier. We booked The Waistcoats back in 2019 for our original date in 2020 and when we had to reschedule 3 times we always made sure The Waistcoats were available for the new date before finalising. The guys moved dates for us each time with no issues.
We were so lucky to have The Waistcoats, not only are they amazing at what they do they are genuinely nice guys and so down to earth, we could not recommend them enough. If you want amazing music, singing and good fun at your big day get The Waistcoats booked you won't regret it!

The Waistcoats were amazing. All of our guests said how much they enjoyed the band. They were very organised from the beginning and tailored the music to our tastes over two nights. We would highly recommend booking them for a wedding.

Paul and Sal were great to work with in the lead up to the wedding. Very attentive and flexible with the songs. Plenty to choose from to suit different budgets and styles. On the day, the pair were amazing and we loved having the live music. The DJ that The Waistcoats supplied was also really good and had everyone up dancing. Definitely would recommend for a special day.

The Waistcoats were an absolute dream to deal with. Paul was so accommodating with our song requests and they provided beautiful music for our ceremony and the after party. We can?t thank Paul and Sal and all the band enough. All our guests danced the night away and we all still talk about the wonderful music which made our day extra special. I?d recommended the waistcoats to anyone and just wish we could do it all over again.

We highly recommend the Waistcoats. They provided music for us for our church and then afterwards at our venue in Italy too. The selection of music was vast and they were also able to play a requested song that was not on their list. The music for the church was beautiful and I would highly recommend them, they had the whole dance floor full all night! Thank you so much!

The waistcoats did a fantastic job for our wedding at Casale Doria Pamphilj.
They played two nights for us and also the music for the ceremony and they perfectly encapsulated the mood on all occasions.
Beautiful music during the ceremony but then created a very fun & lively atmosphere late in the night.

From our very first email the band were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Always responding quickly and were very obliging when we had to postpone the wedding due to covid. Paul was also really helpful in helping us pick music and judged the crowd perfectly - the dancefloor was busy all night! Would highly recommend The Waistcoats. The band also played a more acoustic set for day 2 which all the guests loved.

From the very start we have been nothing but impressed by The Waistcoats. Their back catalogue of music is extensive and they sound fantastic. Our wedding was postponed due to covid on 3 occasions, however the band remained supportive and assisted where they could with moving dates etc.
We only have positive things to say about them. The music was great, our guests and us danced all night and had a fantastic time. Our only wish is that we could do it all again. I would 100% recommend The Waistcoats to anyone.

Coming from Ireland and planning a wedding in a country other than Ireland is a huge task to undertake. Paul and the lads made it so much easier when it came to the music part of the wedding. The team fully exceeded our expectations by keeping all of our guests involved with their music. They were extremely approachable and quick to get back to our queries. On the day of the wedding they were absolutely fantastic and got every single guest going. The guests sang high praises on the day and the days after. Suffice to say, all of us were thoroughly impressed and we ourselves were very glad that we went with The Waistcoats for our wedding music requirements.

Paul and The Waistcoats played an unbelievable gig for us at the wedding, everyone really enjoyed the whole day. They played perfectly at our ceremony and had everyone out on the floor for the party! Such a great bunch of professionals and even better musicians!

I couldnt recommend the Waistcoats enough! Paul was very response via email and helpful in leading us throught the booking process and picking the song list.
A couple of songs I wanted to include in our ceremony were not on their playlist but Framcesco the piano player learned them anyway which was so accomodation. Fransesco did amazing job in our ceremony and the whole band then played accousticly through our reception our guests to absalute great delight and many mentioned to me during the day how incredible the band was.
Once we wanted to start the party Paul and Sal took over and had everyone on the dancefloor in seconds and I dont think anyone left after that.
Thank you Waistcoats for helping us making our day last long into the night and create memories our guests will certainly remember.

I was an Irish Bride dragging my Irish family and friends the whole way to Italy for my wedding but I still wanted to ensure that we had an Irish wedding with fun, laughter, dancing and craic (and a bit of good aul rebel music). The Waistcoats (Paul and Co) did not disappoint. They catered for everything from the wedding mass, appertief, After Dinner and Disco. My Family and Friends have not stopped raving about them. You know when your guests are out dancing from the Apertief that you are on to a great day - and mine certainly were. Our one complaint was our sore feet and legs :). They played requests, danced along and even got our friend from home up playing a tune. You want an Irish band in Italy (or just a band in general) these are the guys to go to as their genre is so varied. They are HUGELY talented and entertaining. My now husband has even said he has never danced as much at a wedding in his life - which is a compliment all on its own. Thank you Paul and Co for handling everything on the day - and I have hugely recommended you to our wedding planner and hotel (all of which I seen out dancing on the day :) ).

My (now husband) found The Waistcoats online and booked them for our destination wedding in Umbria. Around 9 months before the wedding, we were in Rome for the weekend, and Paul and Sal kindly agreed to meet us. From the moment we met them, any nerves I had disappeared. They are such friendly, interesting people, and most importantly, wonderful musicians! Pual was our point of contact, and he was so responsive and a pleasure to deal with. They accommodated all of our requests, and despite having a small wedding with guests of very mixed age groups, they kept everyone dancing all night. They have a brilliant mix of Irish tunes in their repertoire too, which was great for an Irish wedding in Italy. I can't speak any more highly of the Waistcoats - if you're having a destination wedding in Italy, book them immediately! *Also, we joked with Paul that it couldn't be possible that a band would have ONLY 5 star reviews on Weddings Online! Now I know why every review is 5 star, and I can assure you, they deserve every one of them!*

The guys were absolutely great, we had them play for our day after the wedding and they really played to the mood and vibe! Everyone was just chilled and chatting after 3 days of partying so the music they played was just spot on! The guest all really raves about them, even more then our wedding band!
Their song list was great and the guys were just so lovely to deal with. It was also fabulous to have a touch of Irish played when we were all the way in Italy - thanks to Paul and the rest of the band for being so great!

I first contacted the waistcoats just under one year ago. as we wanted an Irish type band for our wedding in Sicily. From first contact Sal was excellent - he was very responsive and understanding. we booked them for our wedding day and a second day BBQ with the wedding party. Our guests couldnt believe we could get such a good band in Sicily and felt it just topped off their weekend. The band played some personal songs for our day that we asked them to learn one being "the boys of county armagh " which i think was requested and played 4 times over the course of the weekend and went down an absolute treat. Sal, Paul and the other band members are really personable people and it was a pleasure to meet them as well as have them perform. They are a key piece in the jigsaw for the music aspect of the wedding and will help the celebrations go another level. I would highly recommend them for any wedding.

Amazing band. They were a dream to work with over the last 12 months. They were always available le to answer any questions we had. Exceptionally professional group and I would highly recommended them. Feedback from our guests was really positive, they loved the song choices and the atmosphere Sal and the band created. They also played during our church ceremony and they were very respectful throughout and again sounded amazing. They went above and beyond and even learnt a new song especially for us for our first dance and it was one of my favourite moments of the wedding. I can't speak highly enough of The Waistcoats, from start to finish they were so easy to deal with and very approachable and accommodating. Any questions or special requests were not a problem.

The waistcoats are amazing! They took care of all the music for us on the day from the ceremony, aperitif and after dinner dancing. The Piano playing during the ceremony was beautiful. The aperitif was a great mix of songs, chilled out and exactly what we wanted then they took it up a gear and got everyone up dancing. We were so happy with every aspect of the music. I would recommend these guys in a heart beat to anyone getting married in Italy. Wish I could do it all again. When searching for a band for our wedding in Italy we came across The Waistcoats and after watching many videos and reading through all the reviews we made contact. The first email from Paul immediately put us at ease and we decided to book them.
Throughout the lead up to the wedding, we had a few different requests (speakers for ceremony and microphones for speeches) all which were agreed to with no problem at all!
On the day they arrived with plenty of time and had a calm presence and were easy to deal with. They are very experienced and knew what to do without having to be told, which kept us super relaxed.
For both parts of the day The Waistcoats played aperitifs and after dinner. They understood what to play and created a fantastic atmosphere.
All our guests did not stop dancing even during the aperitifs there was dancing.
We also pushed forward the first dance and this was no problem.
We had lots of 'experienced' wedding guests who exclaimed: "best wedding band ever"! And we also truly believe that too!
We can't thank you enough for everything you did to make our day so very special!

Prior to the wedding they were quick to reply to emails and very flexible when we were deciding our songs for the different moments of the day. The pianist even learned a song that was not a part of the repertoire for our walk down the aisle! We also loved the cake cutting song.

The Waistcoats are an amazing band and exceeded our expectations on the day. They went out of their way to accommodate our requests for music at the ceremony and played a great range of music that catered for everyone?s tastes throughout the day.
Paul was extremely professional in responding to emails and he made the whole organisation of music run so smoothly. We hadn?t given any thought to a song to walk into for dinner and the guys were able to play the first suggestion I made a few minutes prior!
All the guys are so friendly and helpful and we couldn?t recommend them enough.

From our first contact with Paul, he was nothing but helpful. We had the opportunity to see them play before our wedding, and we loved their interaction with the crowd and their style of music. Once booked, everything was so smooth- they suggested songs for us & were more than happy to play our requests. Our guests didn?t get off the dance floor all night!! Their mix of international and Irish songs made them a big hit with the crowd. Our guests are still talking about them!
They were seamless in their organization - Paul was very prompt throughout the planning, and on the day, we didn?t notice them set up for the apertif or then dismantle and set up again for the reception. True professionals and highly recommended. Thanks so much for being part of our big day! 10/10!

We spent weeks looking for our wedding band, and when we found the Waistcoats we genuinly thought it was too good to be true. They ticked literally every one of our boxes! Paul was incredibly professional and prompt in his communication from day one, something that is very appriciated in the wedding planning chaos, and he made the whole process leading up to the wedding very smooth. On the actual wedding day they were truly amazing; their songs during our cocktail hour where perfect to set the mood and the party after the dinner was just great! We had SUCH a good time and many of our guests still talk about how amazing the band was. Even the less noticable things around the actual performance were great; arranging microphones for speeches, making sure everything was set up in time in all different venue locations, incorporating our guests in their performance and recommending a great DJ who kept the party going after they were finished. They really made our day and we can not recommend them enough!!

What can I say...the Waistcoats couldn't have been more amazing! From the first correspondence with Paul, who was extremely professional and accommodating, we knew they were exactly what we were looking for in a band for our wedding. They have an amazing range of songs to choose from (something to suit everyone) and played everything we requested. My uncle even got up to sing with them! We danced the entire night (my feet are still sore). Our guests are still taking about how brilliant they were, which is just amazing to hear. I couldn't recommend them more! If you are looking for a wedding band in Italy, look no further than the Waistcoats!

The Waistcoats are BRILLIANT.
We got married in Spain so we had to organise everything from Ireland. Paul and the Waistcoats were a pleasure to deal with throughout the process. They were quick to respond to mails, and they were very helpful in suggesting how best to organise the music for the day. The band has a super website and wedding brochure to help you customise the music and running order for the day. They played classical piano in the church, then they played at the cocktail reception prior to the meal, and then the main gig after the dinner. The music was fabulous throughout the day and the dancefloor was full from the very first song. The Waistcoats are very professional, and a super friendly bunch on top of it, and I would 100% recommend them for any wedding or event.

Good communication before the event, nothing to say about that.
On the day, we let the band be judge of what music would be best by "feeling the mood" but still provided a few titles we liked in case.
Their choices of music were just great. Young people liked it, old people were singing along for some song so what else to ask.
The band was overall outstanding and we had a lot of feedback from our guests about that so they totally nailed it.

We got married in Roma and had our reception at Hotel Quirinale. The Waistcoats were simply amazing. We had about 60 at our wedding so i was on the lookout for a good band that would keep the crowd on the floor. When i contacted the band, Paul was an absolute gentleman and was so kind and helpful.
From the moment they began playing i was at ease, the crowd loved them and they pleased everyone as we had a varied age group! My parents never dance at weddings but they didn't leave the floor and that was down to Paul and his bandmates. We had an absolute magical day and danced the night away. I have received so many compliments about the band! So if you arw planning an Italian wedding look no further!

Amazing band. The Waistcoats really helped make the day perfect. The selection of music was spot on and when they finished they left a crowd of people chanting 'one more song'. Everyone at the event wanted more and people said that they were the best wedding band they'd seen.
Even before the event Paul was extremely helpful and responses.

I was looking for an Irish band in Italy and found the waistcoats online. To be honest, I was so glad to find the band that covered both Italian and Irish that I wasn't too concerned about the quality. But wow, the professionalism was off the charts. We didn't have a wedding planner and Paul had so many tips and contacts. And then for the big day... I hit the jackpot. Not only were they super to work with and ticked all my boxes but they were an incredibly talented bunch of musicians!! Thank you big time. Couldn't recommend them enough!

What can I say about such a fantastic team? The waistcoats absolutely made the day! From Paul?s patients, coordination and organization leading up to the day. Francesco?s amazing talent playing at the church. The perfect choice of songs during cocktail hour. The impeccable accommodation for the many, many requests we made , and getting the party started during the reception. We feel so blessed to have found you guys and to have had you a part of our special day! We can?t tell you how many of our guests have said what a fantastic band we had. How you all managed to travel to the remote town of Cortale, Italy and managed to fit in every song and request with very little assistance. You completely took the stress off of us and just did a fantastic job! We really can?t thank you all enough!

The guys were brilliant on the day of the wedding, doing classical piano for the ceremony, acoustic duo for the aperitif and full band for the evening reception!

Booking the band was one of the things that I was most worried about as it is usually recommended that you listen to the band before you book. I found the Waistcoats online and from the moment I emailed with a query Paul was amazing. He was so quick at getting back to me and provisionally booked us in while we confirmed other details. Paul and Sal were so helpful in organising the SIAE licence for the wedding and leased with hotel to sort out practical details for us. This was a massive help to us and reduced stress in the run up to the wedding.
On the day the band were amazing from start to finish. I had classical piano music for the ceremony and this was very romantic and suited the setting. The band played the aperitif at the hotel while we were getting photographs and went down a hit with all guests. After the meal the band then played for a few hours, unfortunately we were restricted to 12:30am finish due to laws in Rome for music on an outside terrace. The playlist options had songs to suit all tastes and the band even learnt a few songs for us. The guests were blown away by the band and kept asking where I had found them. They nicknamed Sal, the Italian Hosier.
I would recommend The waistcoats to anyone planning a wedding abroad as they really helped make our day amazing. If you are looking for an Irish wedding band in Italy - look no further!! Booking a wedding band for a foreign wedding can be daunting however we were so lucky to have found The Waistcoats. From the first email sent they were so accommodating and as time went on and the 5 star reviews kept coming in we became more and more comfortable in our decision. The guys have a huge array of songs to choose from and what really appealed to us was their ability to play songs for young and old at the wedding. Paul & the guys were so accommodating when it came to learning some new songs for our first dance as well. The cherry on top was the acoustic set that they performed as we arrived at our wedding venue which set the tone so perfectly. We have received so many compliments on our choice of band - a true testament to the quality of the Waistcoats. If we could give a 6 star review we would - the Waistcoats are well worth it!

Amazing! Paul and his band the Waistcoats provided an incredible service from the moment I first enquired about their availability to the day the played at our wedding. Paul was always quick to respond to emails and was open to suggestions in regards to what, how and when to play. They also were flexible enough to step in on short notice and play a beautiful acoustic set for the ceremony when my cousin could not attend. They were brilliant on the day. They arrived bang on time and were open to compromise regarding the use of a marquee on the day. Paul was very open to our song suggestions and learnt a few of our favourites for the day. The set list on the wedding day was on point for our guests. I received lots of positive feedback regarding the aperitivo set and witnessed the enjoyment had by all during the main set. Everything Paul and the Waistcoats did in the lead up to and on the day contributed to us having our perfect wedding!

The Waistcoats were part of our wedding day from the ceremony right through to the end of the night. We had piano for aperitif and ceremony, acoustic trio for appetizer buffet and the full band played after the dinner until the end of the night. The guys were absolutely brilliant and created an amazing atmosphere throughout the day. Our guests loved the variety of music which meant the dance floor was packed all night.
They were very professional, flexible and made everything easy to organise from abroad. We highly recommend The Waistcoats and we cant thank the guys enough for all the help leading up to the day and on the day itself.

The Waistcoats played at our wedding in Tuscany on 7th July and we couldn?t have been happier! Paul was super responsive in the planning and they even learnt a favourite song of mine. Francesco played classical music before/during the ceremony and then they played a fantastic acoustic set over aperitifs. The band let us use their microphones & set up for speeches and they provided a great playlist during dinner. The main event was the live set in the evening where the boys did a stellar job of getting everyone up & dancing, even pulling ?Summer of ?69? out of the bag when they had a special request from one of our guests, apparently it was the first time they?d played it but they delivered it like true professionals. Finally, they delivered a DJ set at the end of the night using a playlist that I?d put together beforehand. The Waistcoats helped to make our day so amazing, I would highly recommend them for any wedding or special occasion.

The Waistcoats played at our wedding in Abruzzo on 6 July 2018 and they were fantastic. The music was brilliant but just as important was their professionalism and flexibility. Over the course of the day we had beautiful classical music during the church ceremony, some cool acoustic tunes during the aperitivo, a fantastic ad-hoc guitar and voices session during the cutting of the cake then an amazing after dinner dance session! The guys were great all day, they were very calm and didn't need us for anything. They were happy to help with anything, and blended in well all day- absolutely faultless and couldn't recommend them highly enough!
Dealing with Paul & co. via e-mail in planning so very straightforward, and there was nothing they wouldn't do for us! They even learnt our first dance request, and added in a few songs which weren't within the playlist!
All the above has handled via e-mail between The Waistcoats and myself in London, and it was super easy to manage.

Sal was a pleasure to deal with and added so much to our wedding event. He played at a pizza party the day after our wedding and was the perfect man to get the mood going again. Words cannot describe how fantastic the waistcoats were at our wedding, both in the church and at the reception, nothing was a problem and the guests were delighted with the guys, we would highly recommend booking the waistcoats. Paul is Irish like ourselves and it made having an Italian wedding flawless as sometimes the language barrier can cause confusion!! , we would be happy to give a personal recommendation to anyone thinking of booking the waistcoats for their special day in Italy . The Waistcoats were our wedding band for our Italian wedding (Swiss couple). We hired them for live music as well as DJ in the evening at the wedding location. Unfortunately our organist failed to perform all agreed songs on very short notice. But The Waistcoats were super flexible and managed to come to the church as well and performed those songs, thank you guys so much! The guys are very professional, flexible and extremely friendly! The process for selection of songs was easy and straightforward as was the whole interaction and communcation with them which helped us a lot during the busy time of wedding preparation (especially for organizing a wedding in Italy from Switzerland). Not to mention that they are great musicians, they really felt the pulse of the audience and created an incredible party atmosphere. Thank you guys so much for making our wedding even more memorable!

Sal, Paul and the gang were absolutely fantastic in every possible way. SO helpful, particularly as we are British and we had to arrange all of the music permits which are on Italian websites - The Waistcoats have thought of everything to make your lives as easy as possible! And on the day, they were extremely friendly, enthusiastic and flexible due to changing timescales etc.

We were so lucky to have found the Waistcoats. They were exactly what we were looking for. Upbeat energy with a wide range of songs. They worked with us through the entire planning process with excellent communication. Any requests we had, they were able accommodate. The waistcoats were the perfect band for our Italian wedding. Paul made it easy and relaxed to organise what we wanted on the day and made some great suggestions on the day itself. The music they played was perfect for each moment of the day and all our guests were up dancing for most of the evening - they even let a few get involved and sing! From being slightly nervous about finding a band in Italy - The waistcoats allayed all this after there first song during the afternoon.

We couldn't recommend the Waistcoats enough! We had quite a small wedding in the centre of Rome but still wanted music and dancing for the evening. Searching and booking this from abroad was quite daunting but as soon as I emailed Paul he was quick and professional in his responses and so went with a trio for after our meal. We found this option extremely reasonable and considering the size of our wedding it was the perfect option. There were plenty of song choices to choose from which we did but we also let Paul & the boys work away with what they felt our
guests liked which meant they were up dancing all night which again considering the small number of guests we were a bit apprehensive about. Lots of our guests commented on how great the band were and wondered how we managed to to sort such a good band from abroad! Paul and the boys learnt a new song for our first dance which was perfect and this was not a bother to them at all. When it came to sorting the SIAE permit, both Paul & Sal were extremely helpful when I came across an issue and couldn't do more to help and check it was all done correctly. The whole process of booking & contacting the band was so straight forward which was one less thing for us to worry about when booking our wedding from abroad. And of course the actual music on the day was much better than we were expecting/hoping for so thank you!

We booked the waistcoats to play at our wedding reception in Rome. From the beginning, Paul was very helpful and very quick to respond to all our comments and queries. They have a huge song list ranging from traditional Irish songs to contemporary pop/rock/country music. Both our families thoroughly enjoyed the music and we had such a good craic. Both Paul and Sal have fantastic vocals and Francesco was amazing on the Keyboard. My dad is a keyboardist and he used to play at gigs and events in India before moving to Ireland, he was full of praises of the band. He is a hard man to impress!
I would recommend the waistcoats to any couples looking to get married in Italy. Ours was a small wedding with only 14 guests and having the band was a great way to lift up the evening.

Salvatore was an excellent musucian. He interacted very well with the guests . Immediately after contacting Salvatore he responded and was keen to find out what type of music we needed. We really didnt know what to expect but he interpreted the guests style and all had a great night

Where do I start? Sal & Paul played for our wedding in Borgo Di Tragliata and they were amazing. They played all day, the church, the drinks reception and the after dinner reception. The dance floor was never empty all night. My friends and family are still talking about them. So much so I asked them so stay on for an extra hour & that was no problem at all. If you are thinking about booking them. Go for it, you will definitely not be dissapointed and be prepared to dance all night long.

While trawling the Internet from Ireland to find a band to play at our wedding in France I came across The Waistcoats and I can honestly say, it was one of the luckiest finds that I had.
From the very start Paul was extremely helpful and professional in all my dealings with him and was available at all times to help with any questions I had regarding the Band playing at our wedding.
I have always judged a band at any function I have been at, on the amount of people dancing and the interaction between the band and the guests. I can honestly say that from the very first song played everyone was up dancing and the dance floor was full all times (including my 80 year old mother who hardly sat at any stage while they played). When the Band finished the guests were left longing for more and the feedback from all guests was it was one of the best wedding bands they had ever heard.
Pat & I would like to thank all the Guys from The Waistcoats for helping to make our Wedding Party as special as it was. Any Bride and Groom or indeed any function would be lucky to have them playing at their event.

Sal and Paul played on the third night of our wedding during a pizza party. By that time, everyone was a little tired and emotional so the energy levels weren't superb.
Sal and Paul were fantastic in how they adapted their set to the prevailing mood. They slowly ramped it up to full on party mode and had plenty of interaction with our guests. By the end of the night, everyone was up and dancing.
The variety in their repertoire is fantastic, from Irish to chart, as is the quality of their music. They're also super easy to deal with both in advance of the event and on the night itself. I absolutely recommend booking them to help add lots of great music and personality to your wedding!

We got married at Borgo Di Tragliata in Rome in August 2017. Sal and the waistcoats played at our wedding and we could not have been happier with the quality, performance, professionalism, musicianship, and craic of them. Sal is a great guy, cool manner, responds to emails instantly, no problems with any request or query we had. They have a brochure with their catalog but you needn't worry, at our wedding the crowd were dancing from the first note. Great collection of classics and Irish music and the craic and banter were brilliant. Musicianship and presentation was great. They have a lot of cool instruments and equipment and they allowed people from the crowd to sing and play towards the end which was a lovely mix at our wedding. Having not seen them before booking we were a small bit worried which is natural. We definitely need not have worried about Sal. They are awesome and would highly recommend for a wedding in Rome, they were a special part of our day and look forward to staying touch and maybe catching them again at some point.

Paul & The WaistCoats from the very beginning where brilliant, we had a vision in mind which Paul helped us realise, his guidance was invaluable in the weeks running up to the wedding, every email answered quickly every idea explored without hesitation, we bounced ideas back and forth and this made the day of the wedding incredible, the guys carried out music for the ceremony, the aperitifs, the dancing and then a DJ set! We recently got married in Italy as an Irish couple with 99% Irish guests, we cannot put into words how happy we were with the Waistcoats, they were flexible helping with music at the Aperitif and equipment in the church.
We had the band on the day of the wedding and we booked the acoustic set for the following day; our guests were blown away and we were so happy with their engagement with the crowd and quality of music.

The Waistcoats were FANTASTIC! A friendly group with fun stage presence. They provided music for our ceremony, drinks reception and after-dinner dancing. Nothing was too much hassle and they accommodated our every need. We had Salvatore to play at out post-wedding party in Borgo di Tragliata, Rome. Being the night after the wedding, we had a lot of tired and subdued guests but after Sal started playing, all tiredness was well and truly forgotten. Sal had all of our guests on their feet all night and people haven't stopped talking about how good he was ever since! He well and truly made the last night of our wedding unforgettable and I cannot recommend him enough for anyone looking for wedding entertainment, either for the wedding party or night after. The songlist provided by the Waistcoasts was phenomenal and provided for all tastes from Irish ballads (every one you could think of) to chart music and there really was something for everyone. We couldn't have asked for any more!

We had seen The Waistcoats play at a couple of events around Rome and were amazed with the range of music they would play. When we got in touch they were happy to talk to us and chat about the wedding, and they were very well-versed about music in and around Italy. We were particularly impressed with the band going above and beyond what we had originally agreed, meaning that they were the least stressful part of the entire day. They helped the whole group relax after the ceremony, as well as party on into the night. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

The Waistcoats literally made our Irish Hen Party weekend. They played for my sister's Hen Party at my country home in Rome, Italy. Everyone was up dancing the whole time, and couldn't stop talking about the band afterwards. The band was always quick to respond to messages and calls, such a nice group of guys, and very polite when we ran a bit late on the night. really great night. lovely guys and very helpful with our choice of songs. some of our guests are very musical and where able to play away with the band and use their instruments which made the experience more enjoyable. huge thanks to them all :)

They looked after our ceremony music, aperitif music, we used their mics and system for speeches and playing a playlist during the meal and they were our band and late night DJ. They made the process of picking set lists and choosing music super easy which we loved and had loads of recommendations.
