Words cannot describe Ballybeg house. In attempt to do so I would say magical, stunning, homely, unique. Every single person involved in the running of Ballybeg are jsut amazing. It?s a well oiled ship and everyone is so accomodating and friendly. Tee takes care of your coordinating dreams, Maggie is the most incredible chef/caterer and no request is too big for her. Paddy and all the ballybeg crew are so polished at what they do it?s just incredible. It?s like having a wedding at home, just shut the door and turn off the lights at the end of the night kind of feeling. Simply magic, I wish we could do it all again and we honestly feel like we will return at some time of our lives for another celebration.

Tee, Maggie, Paddy and crew thank you truely for making our wedding dreams come true.

I felt like I got married in Hogwarts and then partied in the Wicklow mountains after. Incredible xx

My Husband, John and I recently had our wedding here. Do not get me wrong, it was amazing in the end. However, we had some difficulties prior and even the 1st few days we arrived. Lucky for us, we had the BEST wedding coordinator, Mark O keeffe. He sorted so many things out for us and made us feel it was never a bother. He even asked his sister, Sarah, to drop off a blowdryer to us at night because there weren't any there. Sarah is in charge of housekeeping and is BEYOND helpful. She drove me in to town, after dropping her blow dryer off, to make sure i was not late meeting my family!). Then, the next morning, Mark showed up with brand new blow dryers for every room.
Our wedding was an amazing day. Mark handled all the details. Booking and planning a wedding from New York was not easy. Mark really took the reigns and helped us sort everything out. He was responsive, helpful and most of all trustworthy. Mark's demeanor was kind and always reassuring. He had every detail sorted out from the tiniest little thing to the big ones. Even with the distance and different time zones, I honestly elt relaxed with becuae Mark was doing all this owrk behind the scenes and keeping us up to date. We had some bumps in the road dealing with the owner, but rest assured, Mark made it possible to have the day we wanted. Mark took such good care of us and everything that we were able to enjoy our time.

Now, let's talk the food...Maggie is AMAZING. She is by far, the best Chef I've ever had the pleasure of tasting their food. No joke. 100% the best food ever. Maggie was so accommodating, came out to check on us multiple times. Here's the thing, every person at our wedding mentioned the food...more than once too. Maggie cooks it al from traditional greats to out of the box creations.

The Ballybeg is a beautiful venue to have your wedding, but it's the people who work there that make it what it is - exceptionally special. We highly recommend it...but I'd make sure Mark, Sarah and Maggie are there on your special day.

Friendly and professional staff available at most hours of the day or night. Clean facilities and exclusive use of the venue with great views of the surrounding countryside. Very 'wedding ready' and plenty of accommodation on site for guests.

We had the most amazing day and didn't have to worry about anything. Ballybeg is a beautiful venue with fantastic scenery, the whole venue was outstanding. From Paddy the owner and every member of his team they were absolutely wonderful, everyone of our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and praised our choice of venue as the best they'd ever been to, whenever we meet up they just want to talk about our wedding and Ballybeg. The food was amazing and the service was truly outstanding, it was like clockwork without any stress. We hope to go back one day to see everyone and to say a big thank you.

We had the best day of our lives at Ballybeg for our Wedding and loved every moment of it. All the staff were amazing and so friendly. Paddy the owner is a gem and even remembered my nephews birthday the day after which was really special. The food was out of this world (catered by Mollys larder) and all our guests were so wowed by the venue and the attention to detail. We loved being able to spend a few days pre and post wedding there to catch up with everyone. Lots of accommodation for family and there are new en-suite guest rooms we availed of also. Finished to a very high standard. Tee (pairs and peaches) helped coordinate the whole day and it went so smoothly- she also designed our beautiful wedding bouquets and decorated the venue. We planned the wedding from abroad so literally couldn?t of done it without her. Everyone is so laid back and you can feel that in the venue which was perfect for us but quality was 100%. Cannot fault anything and I would love to do it all again!! If you see this place I don?t think you would want to book anywhere else.

The best place to say 'I DO'. If you want your special day to be fantastic and successful BallyBeg House will be the best option. We were here 4 days and sadly to leave. Great service, so helpful and kind. Our special day was the best day in our lives. Couldnt be more happier. Simply AMAZING. Paddy the owner is the lovliest person. So thankful he made our time here so unique. Recommend 100%. Lukas & Patryk????

The best weekend of our lives, run and managed by the kindest people where there was no need for any worries. It was so suited to our approach and had everything we needed and more. Setting and accommodation is stunning, venue speaks for itself and the service and food is exceptional.

Couldn?t fault anything at Ballybeg, staff were so helpful and attentive. Tee, the wedding coordinator worth her weight in gold and Mollys Larder catering was brilliant. Everyone was talking about how nice the food was.

We had the most amazing and magical time in Ballybeg house. The staff were beyond helpful and brilliant and the location was absolutely stunning (even though it rained on our big day!) We had a lot of our guests travelling from abroad-as we did ourselves-and found the few days in ballybeg great to catch up with everyone. The 10 pods they have in the woods as accommodation are both comfortable and spotlessly clean and add a fun element for guests. The main house, the dairy, and grouse lodge were also fantastic accommodation and beautifully finished. The ceremony room where we got married was out of this world, and the marquee for the reception was beautiful. We had mollys larder cater for us the night before, the day of, and our Bbq the next day, and everyone pretty much licked their plates clean. If your looking for a relaxed and rustic wedding with friends and family without a ?hotel? feel, and just something different, ballybeg is the place for you! I just wish we could do it all again as it really was the best day/weekend of my life!! So a huge thank you to Tee from pairs and peaches for making our day run so smoothly, we literally couldn?t have done it without her! And also I?d like to give a shout out to Dave, from DMC events who was much more than a DJ on the night, he kept the dance floor packed and the craic flowing all night, absolutely brilliant!

The venue becomes yours to do whatever makes your day that extra bit special. You can avail of the property for 4 days it has everything you would ever want. If you go and see the venue you won?t go anywhere else.

I couldn't recommend Paddy, Tee and all the team at Ballybeg House highly enough. The venue and the staff were brilliant. The venue is such a special place and we were made feel so at home during our stay. Every guest commented on how fabulous the venue is. From start to finish everything was coordinated so well by Tee and she managed to get a very unorganised couple to have their dream wedding and we would not have pulled it off without her. Pauline at Molly's Larder and her team were excellent, the food was outstanding and Pauline was very helpful and responsive with any questions we had.

We had the most incredible time at our wedding at Ballybeg House back in March 2019. From our first visit to the venue and Paddy's tour around the grounds, we knew this was where we wanted to get married.

For the wedding weekend itself, I have to say that from the moment we arrived to the point of leaving, we were bowled over by the venue and the staff. Ballybeg House is an extremely professional setup.

Thank you to the O'Toole family. Thanks to Tee for all the help and organisation. She did a superb job. Thank you Pauline and the catering team. The food was out of this world all weekend. Don't worry about the lack of a tasting session. We are still getting compliments from guests about how good the food was. The staff were faultless and our guests were so well looked after.

Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.

If you are thinking of getting married at Ballybeg House, you will not be disappointed. It is an amazing place to celebrate with your nearest and dearest.

We really hope someone invites us back for a wedding sometime!

My husband and I loved this venue from the moment we seen it. Its so unique and the grounds are maintained to perfection. Its truly a magical place that people wont forget. The shebeen unfortunately was too smokey on the 2nd day, a guest with asthma could not sit inside. I noticed it the second I walked in & commented but the staff said it was part of the charm. It was definitely too smokey, myself and 2 other people had sore throat from it and eventually 1 of the fires was put out. I think perhaps the chimney needed to be cleaned. I would love another opportunity to celebrate at Ballybeg but I don't plan on getting married again.

Absolutely perfect, easiest decision to go with the venue, the ceremony room is a highlight, however with forest pods, hot tubs, out door shower & a hidden pub BallyBeg has everything. It is a must see venue & every single person at our wedding was blown away by it. it?s home away from home for the perfect day. I would recommend it to anyone, the owner & all the staff are just super.

Such a great venue. Guests were still raving about the place a week later, including how comfy the pods were. We really wanted and loved the laid back, fun atmosphere. It was so nice to have our dogs there with us as well. The food was excellent and the staff were so lovely, the day of the wedding and throughout the rest of the weekend. We couldn't have been happier.

Ballybeg house is an amazing wedding venue. From the beginning when we met Paddy the owner, we fell in love with ballybeg. It had everything we wanted for our wedding. Food was spectacular by Mollys larder, Pauline was fantastic to deal with. Tee our wedding planner is exceptional at her job. Nothing was a big ask. Our wedding wknd was so much fun and it was so nice to treat all our family and friends to a weekend of celebrating our wedding. Top marks all round. Can't recommend ballybeg house enough.. Kind regards the new Mr & Mrs George Cooney.. Xxx

My husband and I enjoyed our wedding day at Ballybeg House in Wicklow immensely! The venue is out of this world, and it was perfect for what we wanted - a relaxed country wedding with the ability to exclusively have the venue to ourselves for 3 whole days!!! I am from Australia, so it made sense for us to have our celebration spread over several days to enjoy catching up with those who traveled so far for even longer.

The ceremony room was so unique and special. The House and gardens were simply stunning and the whole atmosphere made for the most fun and relaxed event! The marquee was set out so beautifully and was cosy and intimate for all our guests.

All the accommodation (the House, Dairy,Grouse Lodge and the Pods) were all fabulous and everyone loved their stay and complimented it for being very comfortable.

The food was delish, and everyone commented on how much they enjoyed it! Would highly recommend Molly's Larder for anyone needing catering!!!

Tee from Pairs and Peaches, the wedding planner, was an absolute delight to work with! She made the whole planning process an absolute breeze. From taking care of all the decorations, and also all of the flowers - everything was absolutely perfect and made everything soooo stress free for us.

I wish we could do it all over again!

We had our Wedding in Ballybeg in July. We both fell in love with this place when we initially viewed it a couple of years back and knew it was going to be the place we got married. Our time there was exactly what we hoped it would be...and SO much more!!! Tee (wedding planner) was an absolute god send. I can't say enough good things about her. On the day itself she was behind the scenes doing everything and making sure everything was running smooth. I didn't have to think about anything other than relaxing and enjoying our day. I would do it all again in a heartbeat and wouldn't change a thing.

Ballybeg is a fairytale! We knew the instant we pulled into the drive that this place was special. Each time we went to visit, Ballybeg became better and better - it started to feel like home, no joke. From the owner to the coordinator, to the caterer, to the house staff, all of them are there for you guys and your guests. There were so many moments during our day when I realized things had been taken care of without me even knowing. We even had a special moment where everyone was gathered for dinner and it was super quiet. We were taking in the view when a lovely staff member came and brought us drinks and the canapes we hadn't had a chance to try... that quiet moment with my new husband was my favorite moment of the day! We had a smallish wedding (around 70 people), and our friends and family said it was the best wedding they've ever been to. On the day, we had a few hiccups, but the guests never knew - in fact, they said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! You could tell that they were truly enjoying themselves, which made us so so happy. Would we do it all over again? 1000% yes!!! Would we recommend them? Without one, single doubt. You won't regret it!! :D

Ballybeg House was an incredible venue! Our guests who flew in from Canada, USA, UK, India and Australia were blown away by the beauty of it all. The lush green fields, the cozy accommodations and the Irish hospitality made the venue a little piece of heaven. Planning a 3 day Indian-Irish wedding in Ireland from two cities (Toronto & Vancouver) in Canada is no easy feat, but the Ballybeg House team made the whole process a breeze. Paddy and his team on the ground, Tee of Pairs & Peaches, Ingrid & Pauline and their staff from Molly's Larder all came together to make our weekend a dream - no ask was too much and even the things we might not have considered had already been planned for. They took our vision, and made it their own - which turned out to be even better than we could have imagined. Our guests have many fond memories of our lovely wedding weekend and speak of the warm hospitality they enjoyed - the Ballybeg House team truly made us all feel like family and not just wedding guests. Thank you all once again for everything.

We absolutely loved organising our wedding with Ballybeg House. Everything was easy and relaxed, yet they were all so professional. The quality of the venue, service, and rooms was exceptional. We loved the weekend we spent there and if we could do it all again tomorrow we would. Being able to stay for a few days made all the difference. Paddy, Tee, Mick Patrick, Pauline and all are amazing people. We went for all of their recommendations and would recommend others do too - their suppliers, taxi providers, using Tee as our planner, Mollys Larder caterers (we have been told by many the food was some of the best wedding food people have ever eaten), decorations etc. Just put your trust in the Ballybeg crew and you will have the best wedding!

My daughter got married there two years ago and I cannot recommend it enough. I am not surprised that they don?t have to advertise at fairs etc. Everything about the place is magical. The food was really a very high first class restaurant standard. Tee The wedding planner was worth her weight in gold and just blended in like one of the guests. Nothing was too much trouble for Patrick or any of the staff things just seemed to get done you were left to yourselves and yet the fires were kept lighting candles burning etc. you really have to experience this venue and then no other wedding will ever be the same again.

Ballybeg is a magical venue. If you're looking for somewhere special and different that you can put your own personality into then Ballybeg is perfect for you! We loved everything about it and the team were brilliant to work with.
