I would like to thank the Kinglsey Hotel for the best day ever and to our wedding coordinator Sonia Cribbin who did such a great job organising our day.
The pent house was amazing
The food was great and all the staff went out of their way to make our day so special. All our guests had a great day and are still talking about it today. I would recommend any one having wedding there it's a great hotel. Thanks again Mary and Terry

My husband Stephen and I recently had our wedding at the Kingsley Hotel and we were so happy with the day. Our guests are still talking about the food. From the start Sonia our wedding planner could not do enough for us, even when we started to get stressed she invited us in for tea and kept me calm. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We had our wedding reception in The Kingsley nearly 2 months ago and we couldn?t have been happier with our choice. Everything went smoothly on the day (and at the planning stages too), the staff and service were excellent, the food was amazing and the penthouse suite was just fabulous. The hotel was beautifully decorated and the ball room had plenty of place for the party. Our guests were all impressed and we couldn?t be more thankful to Sonia, our wedding co-ordinator, for making sure everyone enjoyed the night. We highly recommend The Kingsley Hotel for any future bride and groom.

Ken and myself had our wedding reception at The Kingsley on 26th October 2018. It was magnificent. Everything about the hotel from staff to food to accommodation was superb. There was nothing you could fault. Our wedding co ordinator Sonia Cribbin was fantastic. She?s cool, calm and collected. She was very accommodating when finalising our wedding plans. She has a great sense of humor too which is always a plus. I would highly recommend The Kingsley as a venue for ones wedding. Also the location on the banks of the River Lee lends itself to having beautiful photographs outside the hotel. Ours were fab.

went through a few organisers due to turn over of staff, but got a really lovely and hands on organiser called Aoife who was amazing and very helpful from the minute we met to soon after the honeymoon. hotel staff were great and hotel rooms we great. our wedding guests loved the hotel.

The Kingsley is a fantastic venue. We couldn?t have asked for any more. Anything we requested was taken onboard by the staff and carried out accordingly.
We dealt with the events coordinator Aoife who was always professional and enthusiastic. There was constant communications from the first day we met right through to the wedding day which made our experience pain free and enjoyable.
On the day everything went smooth with managers and staff engaging throughout the day to ensure everyone was satisfied and enjoying the event.
We?ve had lots of guests comment positively on the staff, the food and how well the venue lends itself for a wedding.
The penthouse is one of the better ones we seen on our search for our wedding venue.
We found the hotel fair to deal with and would highly recommend the Kingsley.

Our Wedding day at the Kingsley ran so smoothly from start to finish. The main reason for this was the professionalism and attention to detail of all the staff who were involved on the day and in the lead up. In particular, R?is?n and Jibin were amazing, looking after our every wish and request, nothing was ever an issue. Through the planning process R?is?n really got behind our vision for the day, and carried it out exactly as we wanted. It was great to leave things in R?is?ns hands knowing they would be carried out exactly as we had envisioned. The day ended up being really relaxing as we knew we were in good hands.All of our guests commented on how beautiful the hotel was, and how amazing the food was. The food was of extremely high quality and the service was excellent to match.We can't thank the staff at The Kingsley for making our day so intimate, stress-free and special.

We just had the most fantastic, wonderful and special wedding at Kingsley Hotel, Cork. As a Cork person myself where home is not that far from the hotel I was so pleasantly pleased that such a wonderful gem of a wedding hotel was on my doorstep.The whole experience was everything we could have wished for - and more - both ourselves and our guests continue to speak of the amazing quality of the hotel food, the customer service and the overall ambience and facilities.I live in Dublin so organizing a wedding when not local can take more time and effort but from the moment Ronan and I engaged with the Wedding Team at the Kingsley, we were extremely confident that the team had the knowledge and experience to demonstrate that we would have very minimal involvement in the main event. The attention that the staff, in particular, the dedicated Wedding planner, Roisin, gave to both my mum and dad and ourselves was second to none. The team were extremely helpful in the preparation stage and also on the day by setting up the room exactly as required and also putting a professional touch to the area around the room. They accommodated our request to have the cake cutting earlier in the beautiful area overlooking the water front and also where we had some of the speeches.The food was fantastic and in plentiful amount through the day. From the afternoon tea to the evening meal we were extremely delighted with the quality and overall service to the tables. The staff were amazing on the night accommodating all the needs of the team and looking after each and everyone of the guests.Overall we would love to recommend this hotel for the sheer 5* service, the professional wedding planning service and their ability to adapt and be flexible to our needs throughout the preparation and on the day. Big thank you to a tremendous team and venue. xx

How do you leave a review for a place that truly warrants a visit if you are even thinking of using a hotel for your wedding? Where do I start? from our first time entering the hotel as a Sunday venture to check out the venue and a spot of lunch, resulting in getting a private tour, by Jibil, of all of the hotel facilitates including the penthouse, guest bedrooms and spa, with no appointment made but we were made feel at home. Truthfully, we fell in love with it right there and then, if only for the staff and their genuine attentiveness. On meeting with Paul to discuss the nitty gritty and later on with Roisin for the final details of the day and the lead up, I knew I had no issue with allowing Roisin to roll with and successful pull off all our littles quirks, ideas, attention to detail and tastes as nothing was a problem. When organising a wedding you soon find out that it is not possible to do everything yourself but the trick is to discover suppliers that you can trust who will deliver, alleviating you of that particular stress and more time for enjoyment on your special day, this is the Kingsley Hotel for sure. We are married 7 weeks and we are still hearing stories back about the attention to detail, the layout in the drinks reception, the wedding meal and the service down to the bedrooms and breakfast. You say it?s hard to please everyone but not to sound boastful but teaming up with the Kingsley Hotel ?Yes it is possible?. Finally the Kingsley team gets 5 stars from us as a wedding venue because they make you and everyone else attending your wedding a part of their family on that day. Since our wedding at the Kingsley, we have heard the most amazing feedback from our guests about the hotel. Some of our guests have said it was the best wedding they were ever at. The food was perfect - we couldn't have hoped for a better meal for our guests. The staff from the beginning were fantastic to deal with. From when I made our initial enquiry, I found the staff to be professional, responsive and genuinely motivated to make our day special for us. We dealt with Roisin mainly and she was such a pleasure deal with. Our day went so smoothly - you could feel that Roisin had everything under control and was invested in ensuring we had the best day of our lives. Our wedding day was the most amazing day of our lives and the Kingsley was a huge part of making this happen. I could not recommend them highly enough.

Where can I start... From the moment we entered The Kingsley we were sure this was the place for us. When we met Paul and Roisin we were sure we were in good hands. Roisin could not have done any more for us, especially the little details. On the day of our wedding everything was amazing, the food was outstanding. No one left hungry and the compliments we received from our guests about the food!! The staff in The Kingsley are 5 stars and nothing was any trouble. We stayed in the penthouse for 3 night which was the most magical place ever. I can honestly say that Roisin and everyone at The Kingsley were absolutely amazing - thank ye all for the most perfect day of my dreams.

We had our wedding in April and everything from the initial organising to the actual day went off without a hitch. Roisin the event planner kept in touch with me regularly in the months coming up to the wedding and generally made things extremely easy for me. The food on the day was unbelievable and the service from all the staff was second to none. They went above and beyond to make all of us so welcome for the entire weekend and the room for the reception was exceptionally beautiful. I would totally recommend anyone to go look at the Kingsley for their wedding venue. Loaction, rooms, staff, food...all 5 star.

Our main aim for our wedding day was that it would be happy and relaxed, and thanks to the Kingsley it was both. Roisin helped us plan our day and nothing was a problem. She is such a lovely person and the ideal wedding planner. Everyone still raves about fantastic food, friendly atmosphere and table service which was second to none. Our memories of our wedding day still bring the biggest smile to our faces. We were so happy with our hotel choice and would definitely recommend it and its lovely employee.

From the first day we walked through the doors of The Kingsley to see if it was as good as the reviews we had heard and read,we knew straight away it was our wedding venue!The whole team were amazing from start to finish and no request was too big, too small or out of reach. The staff were there every step of the way in our planning and at the end of the phone whenever we needed them. Friendly, caring, helpful and supportive are just a few ways to describe the staff. Thank you to everyone involved for making our day the best we could have ever dreamed for. We have amazing memories and our family and friends are still talking about what a great time they had. From the relaxed atmosphere to the food, from the wine to the function room, it was all fantastic. Thank You to the staff of The Kingsley Hotel.

We got married at the Kingsley last Christmas and it was really fantastic. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. I was not exactly Bridezilla; to be honest I was pretty disorganised, planning a wedding on lunch breaks. But we ended up having a great wedding, thanks to the staff at the Kingsley who talked me through the whole thing, suggested great suppliers, and worked really well with all our special requests. My one 'bridezilla' thing was food: I don't eat meat and have loads of allergies, and my husband is also a fussy eater. All our awkward food requests were accommodated without the slightest hassle, and we ended up gorgeous dishes for us and our guests. We were really impressed that every course was served to every table at the same time so we were really having a meal with all our friends rather than us being on dessert while some tables were still getting starters. Lots of our guests commented on this too. The decor in the Kingsley looked gorgeous and we got some really atmospheric photos there. I am delighted we chose the Kingsley for our wedding reception. It could not have gone better and 7 months on we are still hearing compliments on it.

A wonderful experience and an unforgettable day! Paul and I got married in the Kingsley Hotel in early December 2017 and we had no hesitation in choosing the wedding venue. The welcome and the service provided from the moment of our first visit was so impressive and professional that we didn?t even consider another hotel. The quality of the Kingsley Hotel?s wedding facilities in terms of function room, reception area, restaurant/s, bar and guest rooms was second to none. The beautifully festive Christmas decorations added to the warm Kingsley atmosphere. This was complimented by a quality of customer service, provided by Paul and the team, which we simply cannot fault. The support and advice provided by the hotel staff in the run-up to the wedding made the process of planning our big day so much easier. Any and all requests were accommodated. On the wedding day itself, the hotel looked spectacular and we couldn?t have been happier with how it all went. The food and service were simply excellent. [A special menu for a guest with special needs was discretely managed by the wonderful hotel staff]. At the top table, the service was exceptional ? a speech which had been left in the Bridal Suite was quickly retrieved by the ever obliging team. Our guests were equally complimentary about the food, the service, the hotel rooms and the Christmas ambiance. The day went by in a flash, but we can honestly say that our abiding memory is of an exceptional hotel and staff who made for an unforgettable wedding experience. We cannot recommend the Kingsley Hotel highly enough - if we could do it all again, we wouldn't change a thing!

I can't say enough good things about the Kingsley. From Paul who we dealt with first to Michelle our assigned wedding planner, we were delighted with the help, support and attention to detail from all the staff from day one. Michelle in particular was exceptionally helpful and she was a great support as well as being able to chime in with ideas and small points which we weren't aware of or hadn't considered.
The venue itself is beautiful - we selected to have the room dressed in white but there are other options and there are lots of different configurations for the room that could suit nearly every scenario you could think of. Everything from the menu options and meal tastings at the hotel were just perfect and everyone was so friendly and professional (we even got to meet the Chef who'd be cook our meal, an extra nice personal touch).
The penthouse where we spent the wedding night and the night after is also exceptional, the views out over the river are fabulous - and its a location to induce jealousy in everyone who's lucky enough to see it.
The only minor fault I found was that the room did get very hot over the course of the evening but the hotel upped the air conditioning / opened doors etc. That did help.
A big thanks to all the team for helping us have a fabulous and memorable day.

We had our wedding on the 17th of September 2016, and I have to say I wouldn't change it for the world. The hotel wedding co-ordinator went above and beyond for us in every single way. The staff on the day also couldn't do enough for us and our guests. The food was excellent, 5 star, and even went around with seconds for our guests. It's in a perfect location with stunning views of the River Lee and Sundays Well. We had the penthouse for 2 nights and may I say you have to see it to believe it, outstanding. The room where we had our drinks reception and dinner were cosy comfortable and intimate. I really can't say enough about The Kingsley.

On the year anniversary of our Wedding we look back on the day with fantastic memories. The Kingsley Hotel were so fantastic to deal with on every aspect of the day from menu planning, to room decorations and guest rooms etc... and very agreeable to lots of non standard requests we made. On the day itself they were so professional, constantly supporting my Husband and I, our bridal party and even our parents. Ensuring we had water on a warm day as we circulated through our guests and checking in on us and all the guests throughout the evening. We could not have asked for more so much so that our guests still talk about the fantastic venue.

I found the Kingsley excellent. Paul and Fergal did everything to make our day feel special and full of positive memories. Everyone mentioned how good the food was, and I can't state how brilliant the service was during the meal. I do, however, flag caution on the hotel spa which while the staff and atmosphere are wonderful I'm not confident on the hotel policy on using the best equipment for the job, as was the case with my spray tan - a disaster which could have been avoided if the hotel ensured all its equipment was in top working order. In saying that I'm fully confident the management did everything in their power to rectify the problem, but I hold fast to the opinion it could have been avoided. Overall I strongly advise couples to visit the Kingsley, I believe it to be one of the best wedding venues in Ireland.
