A Musical Wedding With a Greatest Showman Theme

Siobhán and Gavin had an amazing spiritual ceremony with a Greatest Showman theme. They had a piano play, a real fire lit in the background, and their celebrant, Michele Feeney, also sang!

Siobhán and Gavin were neighbours and she was friends with his sister for years before the two met at a charity pub event. One day, while they were in bed, Gavin turned to Siobhán and asked “Do you want to get married and get one of these?” while showing her photos of rings on his phone.

“We had our day on the 18th of June and every single second was perfect! We chose pink and grey, with our bridal party dressed in navy and grey. Our candles were silver and our beautiful flowers were by Feehily’s Flowers in Sligo. They even helped with a last-minute cake topper.”

Siobhán wore a satin ivory dress with pink accessories. Her dress and veil were from The White Room in Mullingar and she wore Ted Baker shoes and a beautiful headpiece. Gavin wore a navy suit with oxblood red shoes and a belt.

The wedding party wore grey and sparkly dresses, with the flower girl in pink, grey and ivory.

Siobhán and Gavin had an amazing spiritual ceremony with a Greatest Showman theme. They had a piano play, a real fire lit in the background, and their celebrant, Michele Feeney, also sang! Guests said it was like a musical and they are still talking about how fantastic it was. Highlights include their handfasting, where three friends tied the know with a colour ribbon coin exchange.

They got married at the beautiful Castle Dargan Estate in Sligo. The couple described the venue as “Just gorgeous” and we totally agree. They loved the greenery and nature visible from every window!

The wedding photos were captured by R&E Duo, who Siobhán and Gavin said went above and beyond!

In memory of their loved ones, they lit lanterns and had a special post-dinner speech to honour them.

Siobhán’s favourite memory was walking down the aisle. It was finally happening for real and seeing Gavin and all their friends and family was a highlight! She loved the handfasting and all the songs during their ceremony.

“Take time to absorb every second especially walking up the aisle. And practice sitting in the dress! I forgot and took a few minutes to figure it out – lol!”
