Australian designer Karen Willis Holmes has been designing for brides since 2004 when she premiered her Bespoke collection; a range of gowns for women with a penchant for the couture, but a budget for ready to wear. In 2015 she launched Wild Hearts, her answer to the demand for chic and classic gowns for a ‘free spirited’ boho bride.
The Karen Willis Holmes 2017 offering is very much a continuation of this informal, free-flowing but classic and timeless style of dress, reflecting the increasing demand for versatility in separates and for romantic, ethereal style gowns. Containing an array of bodices and skirts, the collection can be mixed and matched seamlessly to create a unique look for every bride. Dreamy laces, sparkling embellishments, romantic tulle and flowing georgettes combine to create depth and volume in each variation, and silhouettes are cut to accentuate the female form while floral appliques and expert embroidery add a couture-like stamp.
