A Romantic, Neutral Palette for Minimalist Weddings

Other

We might be well into the autumn season, with the colours of nature surrounding us in every park and on every pathway, but we’re still lusting after this year’s trend of neutral toned, greenery weddings. A neutral palette can work for a wedding at any time of the year, and when accented with gorgeous greenery and maybe even a pop of gold or two, it can look particularly beautiful for an autumn/winter wedding.

Today our palette is all about soft greys, pastel pinks and that rustic, vintage-feel green that has taken over wedding decor in the last few months. Bridesmaids should be well on board with neutral tone dresses – think grey, soft pink, off white or a really pale blue in chiffon and silk, and of course don’t be afraid of a bit of beading or sequins if it’s a festive-feel winter wedding! Stationery and flowers are the perfect place for showing off your theme to its fullest – we love a simple Kraft paper and calligraphy combo for table numbers, place cards, etc… and flowers like cream roses and bouquets filled with pretty foliage is an easy way to carry the theme down the aisle with you!
