We’re not even going to pretend a sweet table is for the kids at your wedding, there’s very little we love more than munching on our favourite childhood sweeties!
Sweet tables are a staple at most weddings now and they’re one little extra detail that we still love. Today we’re sharing some gorgeous sweet table delights which we’re hoping will inspire you to create your own, but if time is not on your side (or creativity for that matter!) head to our local supplier listings for the best in the business throughout Ireland.

To make your own sweet table you will need…
- Bags to carry sweets: We love these personalised paper bags from Etsy but you can easily pick up cheaper bags on the high street.
- Table or piece of display furniture: Ask your venue for a really easy way to display your sweets or think outside the box and use a rustic ladder, cart, dresser or any piece of furniture you love.
- Table cloth: Sequins or stripes always work beautifully!
- Table sign: Again head to Etsy or your stationer for a personalised wedding sign.
- Containers, cake stands & display jars: Ikea is a great place to pick up affordable options – as above.
- Little signs for each type of sweet: The mini chalkboard signs from Hampton Blue are majorly cute but you could also pick up chalkboard stickers for your containers to name each sweet.
- Scoops and tongs: You know so people leave their fingers out of the loot!
- Decor: From balloons to paper flowers, bunting and table confetti, have fun dressing your sweet table. How beautiful are these pinwheels from Hampton Blue, teamed with brightly coloured tassels from Wedding in a Tea Cup.
- Sweets: Choose your favourite childhood favourites but steer clear of hard boiled sweets, they’re not child friendly at all.
