Moved to new location...no friends

i often thought about this, do you ever talk to people who say, come back from holidays, and they are like "oh we got talking to this other couple", or "oh the barman there brought us to this club with his mates" never happens to us... one waitress on honeymoon asked us where we were from and had a bit of a chat i wonder about that.. imagine you moved away... we'd be on our own i reckon!

Yes i know of people who met others while away on holidays, and ended up sharing the rest of their holidays in each others company.Ive talked to other holidaymakers while away but never hung around with them.

For some reason I always start talking to people when away. A couple we meet 3 years ago on holls always sends us christmas cards. God I must be some woman to talk. :o0

Aww Casey01, I'm all sad for ya now. If you give us a clue as to where you are I'm sure one of us bound to know someone we could put you in touch with maybe to socialise with or whatever (sounds a bit weird that but ye know what I mean!). Well our Stradbally place fell through for a number of reasons - nujob of a landlord for starters!! So now.... we're going to Dungarvan. Picked up the keys this morning. Moving in next week so a little packing up to do here!!
