We are absolutely delighted we had Cr?ddog play at our wedding. All of our guests rave about the music from our day. We had the band from the church to the dj in the evening. Everything was flawless and they read the room well for the dancing in the evening. The band were very accommodating learning a song with a family friend and a scottish song we wanted. The music is a hugely important part of the day and we definitely made the right choice with Craddog.

Guys you?re very very good! Loved it and so did all my guests, they keep asking me for your details so they can book you too. You were the only band on the planet to kick start the party after all the food they?d eaten!

Now all our English and Aussie guests truly know you cant beat and irish wedding....fact!

We booked Craddog for our wedding in Mayo in August 2019 and they did an amazing job. We booked them for the whole day and we are so glad we did. They did a fantastic job in the church and at our welcoming reception. We couldn?t have asked for more of them in the evening, our dance floor was full for the whole night!! We really enjoyed the interactive ceili dancing, and I loved playing the bodhran with the band. We received so many compliments from our guests about them and everyone still talks about it. Craddog were brilliant! Our wedding was in Aughrim church and then Brooklodge in Wicklow, and there was absolutely no problem with them moving from the church for the service to our reception venue. They responded quickly to any queries which was great as I was organising from the UK. Everybody LOVED the music during the ceremony and was they played at the drinks reception really got the party started in style! From our very youngest guests to our very oldest, everybody was up and dancing! THANK YOU for doing a great job for us Craddog - and I would highly recommend.

The date was March 1st 2018. The ?Beast from the East? and ?Storm Emma? had made travelling conditions treacherous, covered Dublin in a blanket of thick snow and sadly prevented many relatives and guests from attending our special day. But just when things looked bleak our family, friends, organisers and staff all stepped up like heroes to make it the most tremendous of weddings....and the Craddog lads were no exception! They made it through in the most challenging and frankly dangerous conditions to lift up a tired, almost exhausted wedding party....this was no normal wedding, this was about amazing and decent people helping others.....these lads are no longer just a band, they?re a bunch of legends and we?ll forever be very grateful to them!

Craddog were exceptional and I can't recommend them highly enough. They were so easy going and professional, they exceeded my expectations by a mile. We had them playing throughout the day and they provided just the right ambience. Then the ceile lessons interspersed during the evening were such fun for everyone from young to old. Worth every penny. A great bunch of lads (and lass).

We hired Craddog based on the recommendations of others without ever seeing them in person. It was a bit of a risk but one that really paid off. Craddog were so nice to deal with and entertained our guests with trad music, reels that were perfect for set dancing + also songs & dances that really introduced our foreign guests to Irish ceol agus craic :) They engaged really well with the guests + ensured the dance floor was always full. I was asked so many times who the band were because everyone was so impressed. Thank you so much Craddog for your brilliant musicianship on our special day.

Craddog were an absolute joy to work with and were the perfect musicians for our special day!
They are a wonderfully relaxed and talented group of guys, who got what we wanted with minimal input from us. The music on the day was incredibly important to us, but living in South Africa, we had to rely on online reviews and the connection we felt when we spoke to the band. Craddog felt right from the beginning and they were so easy to work with.
This went also for how they worked with other musicians involved in the day.
I wanted one of my best friends, jazz singer, Emilie Conway, to sing on the day also and Craddog worked with Emilie, even before the wedding, to make sure everything was perfect.
The result was an amazing church ceremony with a mix of all my favourite Irish music, performed by Craddog and Emilie, a jazz reception with my friend's quartet, and a really fun evening of traditional music post dinner by Craddog, which all our guests - Irish and foreign - loved.

We got married in June 2016. Craddog performed the music for the church ceremony and at the drinks reception. They are absolutely amazing musicians. We had guests from all over the world at our wedding and they certainly loved the music-the mixture of slow airs, reels, jigs.The music in the church was exactly what we wanted and certainly enriched the ceremony. The Ceremony was absolutely perfect and everyone couldn't believe how beautiful the music sounded. Too be honest, we were a bit nervous prior to the wedding for people to actually get up and dance with it being such a small wedding count but you proved that wrong. You had everyone on the dance floor in no time. The dancing, singing and overall music couldn't have been better. We appreciate all the coordination and patience in planning due to the time difference stateside. Everyone in both Ireland and the New Yorker's that came out couldn't believe how good you were. 5/5!!! No hesitation in recommending these guys :) They did an amazing job on the night and went down a treat for our Irish and Overseas guests. The ceili caller did an amazing job at getting up the guests for some ceili dancing. People were sweating - they were giving it there all!! I was up playing the bodhran at one stage. And the hubby and I had a sing off (wild rover!!). Never forget it!!
The DJ was also excellent too. Ended the night on Riverdance as we requested and had everyone in a circle busting out moves. It went brilliantly. Thanks for a great night and even better memories!!

I would give 6 stars for Craddog if I could! Tony and I organised our Wedding from Australia and booked Craddog for the full day, a decision which was made in part, from reading a lot of the reviews on Weddings Online which are 100% brilliant.
Everything went smoothly from their responsiveness to emails to being really accommodating with special requests prior to the day.
On the day, they did a stellar job. I had goosebumps walking down the aisle to Cannon in D. It was a moment I'll never forget. At the drinks reception my mother who has an interest in the accordion got to play a few tunes with the band and was delighted. They did a wonderful job later for the evening reception. Our 1st dance song, the Waterboys 'How long will I love you' has always been really special to us and Craddog did not disappoint. With so many overseas guests the ceili calling went down a storm. That being said, they have a big repertoire and mixed it up a bit with some more contemporary music to keep the evening flowing.
It would be fair to say there were people who did not leave the floor all night, myself included, such was the craic!
I would highly recommend Craddog to any couple with a taste for a bit of trad/folk. The service you will get is of the highest standard, the professionalism and caring attitude shown by Ciaran and the band is just outstanding and unfortunately, all too often in short supply. Both my husband and myself believe that our choice of music was one of the best wedding supplier decisions we made.

We booked Craddog to cover all the music for our big day, from church to night-time in one package which was incredibly stress free. They were so versatile and played appropriate music for each part. The Church Music was beautiful, and complimented by all. The drinks reception music was relaxed, the perfect background as people arrived. The night music was lively and fun, they had the dancefloor rocking all night and the interactive dances and sing off's ensured everyone got on the floor. I would highly recommend the lads, Ciaran was easy to deal with and accomodating from start to finish.

We would highly recommend Craddog for your wedding. Our wedding was a mix of town and country people, young and old. We wanted something for everyone to enjoy. Craddog was the perfect match! The feedback we received from all our guests after the wedding was heartening. They commented on the fantastic music played and the dance floor was never empty. Always a good sign! We got married at Carton House in August and had Craddog play at our wedding. We live in Australia so had to plan the whole thing from the other side of the world and the boys from Craddog were very easy to deal with both via email and over the phone. We asked if they could learn a new song that is special to us to play as our recessional. They were happy to do so and did such a great job which got the festivities off to a great start.
We had two of the guys playing instrumental/background music during the drinks reception and then after dinner the full band came on. They played a great, energetic and eclectic mix of songs and we loved the incorporation of traditional Irish instruments. The Ceili part was heaps of fun, especially because all the guests were from Australia and had never done any Irish dancing before.
Craddog and their music are the part of the wedding that everyone keeps talking about months later. Highly recommended.

Cradd?g played at our wedding in July. They were absolutely superb. Half of our invitees were English and the Cradd?g lads had every guest up dancing the Irish jigs and reels. It was so much banter! What followed the band was the band's DJ set, which was also amazing! The amount of compliments about the band we received were phenomenal... two thumbs up, 10 out of 10, five stars all around. We were so happy we chose Craddog for our wedding music! We live in Florida, and planning our Dublin wedding from across the pond in just 6 months was challenging. We got in touch with Ciaran from Craddog, and he was professional, personable, and a great reassurance that everything would work out just fine - and it was even better than we had hoped!! We had a mix of young and old guests from Ireland, England, and USA, so we wanted variety, and we needed music for the whole day. Craddog was able to meet all of our needs. They played songs especially selected for our ceremony, a classy duo for our cocktail hour, and a full band for the reception. They played lots of trad music, and one of the band members called a few Ceili dances. He was great at getting some of the shy people up and onto the dance floor and guiding them through the steps. They changed over to a DJ for the late night dance party. Everyone had a blast, especially me and my hubby! It was a hoot seeing everyone try the Ceili dancing. It was some true Irish craic!

Sarah and I chose Craddog for the opportunity to have a different feel for the day than your standard band. We got in touch with Adam and managed to see them in November before our wedding in June. We booked them straight away for the whole day from ceremony to DJ. Adam and the guys were very accommodating, trying to give us options for songs for both Irish and American crowd.

Craddog were very professional, easy to deal with, we met them beforehand to discuss the playlist and what we wanted out of the day. Without a doubt, they delivered for us! We weren't sure about the Ceili option and left it to the band to judge the crowd, in the end we had two ceili songs/dances and the crowd wanted more.

Would highly recommend Craddog if you like folk/trad music but also want some mainstream music and oldies thrown in.

My wife and I had a very relaxed wedding which blended tradition with the modern. I had seen Cradd?g play at the service and reception of a friend's wedding so I knew that they were exactly what we wanted. They are talented musicians, professional in their outlook and generous with their time and patience. The tunes got the full age range of our guests onto the floor and dancing. Craddog were absolutely excellent throughout the whole process and made organising a wedding from overseas so much easier and stress free. Ciaran and Adam put our minds at ease and said they would deal directly with the venue and the celebrant to organise timings, set ups, etc. We were happy for the band to organise their own playlist and it was excellent. These guys did not disappoint, they are truly talented musicians. They played lovely music for the ceremony, a few jigs and reels for the pre-dinner drinks and had absolutely everyone on the dance floor in the evening. They even had the mother of the groom up playing the bodhran at one point and she loved it! I could not have been happier with Craddog, they were so interactive with everyone and had us all in stiches up doing dances and sing-offs! All our guests commented on how excellent the band were. From the early planning stages, Ciaran quickly replied to my emails and himself and the group were extremely flexible and easy to deal with! Craddog provided the perfect ceremony and drinks reception music for our outdoor wedding at Summerhill House. The lads were so easy to deal with and had great suggestions for which pieces to play at each part of the ceremony. They were flexible to meet our requirements and very accommodating to our own singers from the family. A fantastic group of musicians. They played during the ceremony all the way through the evening's dancing! My favorite part was when they lead all our guests in some traditional Irish dancing. Craddog performed at our wedding in Dec 2014. Would definitely recommend booking them for your wedding. They really are something a little bit different but just great fun. They really make sure to get everyone involved and get everyone up dancing. They also included a DJ when they were finished as part of their package and he was absolutely brilliant! You wont regret hiring them for your wedding.

We had Cradd?g play for our drinks reception in Killashee House and we cannot recommend them highly enough!! They were just brilliant! We opted for the 3-man band to add some atmosphere to this part of the day and they did exactly what they promised- they played a really good mixture of fun and lively traditional music and some modern songs too (with an Irish twist!). We were off taking photos and arrived to the drinks reception about an hour after they started playing and when we waked up the stairs in Killashee, you could sense the party was already starting!

In the lead up to the wedding so they were so helpful and always responded quickly. They were also very flexible too- we had them originally booked to play at the church ceremony too but closer to the wedding we changed this to just the drinks reception and there was no hassle at all.

So we would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of adding some good Irish fun to their big day!!!

We planned our wedding in Dublin from Texas and so had to rely on the internet for a lot. We never met Craddog and simply discussed things via email (I'm sure we could have chatted on the phone if I had wanted to). I have to say that even before the wedding day Craddog had made booking, payment and planning incredibly easy.

On the day they walked in after the speeches and were up and running in 5-10 minutes. Nice a fast turn around and so there was no lull in the atmosphere (obviously that's venue dependent) Their crowd interactions were fantastic and they got the bride and groom involved in the entertainment.

Their blend of Ceile Dancing and Trad versions of modern songs was fantastic for our mixture of Irish and Americans at the wedding and their caller did a great job of getting everyone up and into the swing of it. I think every american was on the floor at the same time at one point. We got plenty of praise for our choice of band from both sides of the family.

Myself and Robbie live in Australia and chose Craddog after a lot of listening to bands on-line. We had a two day wedding and Craddog played at our ceremony and came back on day two for a trad session in the venue. To be honest, our guests talked more about the second day and how much fun and energy was in the room whilst they played and our photographs truly reflect the fun night we had. They are extremely talented, easy to deal with, flexible and patient. I say patient as they accompanied my hubby whilst he sang and played my favourite song as a surprise for me on the second day. I know the guys were certainly in the background giving him support and encouragement in the lead up to the day. We were thrilled with Craddog, they have the rare ability to play across a broad spectrum of music genres flawlessly. Thanks a lot guys for the beautiful and fun memories!

Booked Craddog as we wanted something a bit different to a standard wedding band. They were great! Very flexible in that they played on our West Kerry beach for the ceremony. Music was great and perfect for each stage of the day ending up with a crowd pleasing ceilidh getting all the oull' ones up for a spin. Would highly recommend them any day.

Cradd?g were fantastic throughout the day. We initially booked them as a ceili band but ended up with Cradd?g performing the music during the ceremony and drinks reception too. We had Craddog for our wedding reception in May, and we were really happy with them. They sounded great and engaged really well with guests. I loved 'playing' the bodhran with them too! We got several comments from guests afterwards about how good they were.

I organised Craddog for a wedding in Ballybeg House in June this year and had a very specific brief. We wanted trad music but not the hardcore trad, something that would appeal to all ages, and that would suit an Irish/American party. Ciaran and the lads organised the ceremony music, which was hauntingly beauitiful; the reception music was also fantastic- lively and upbeat with a hint of trad and not too twee. But the main band was the talking point for the whole event. The lads were just brilliant! We had set dancing with instruction, a bodhran playing bride, fantastic floor filling tunes mixed in with trad- it was the perfect combination. The dancefloor was full for the entire night and it really was just great craic! Craddog were excellent from start to finish.

Craddog were recommended to us by friends and we'd recommend them to anyone. They played the early part of the evening for our do at the Sugar Club and were a huge part of setting a great atmosphere. Very laid back lads and absolutely brilliant musicians with a range of tunes that never became repetitive or dull. So many people commented to us that they really added a special vibe to the evening.

Choosing Craddog as our reception band might have been the BEST decision we made for the wedding. I was so nervous about booking a band while planning my wedding from the U.S., but I loved their samples online and really wanted ceili band for the reluctant dancers (including ourselves!!). My worst nightmare was having a boring reception, but Craddog didn't let me down! ALL my guests were on the dance floor and everyone went on and on about how much fun they had next day! The ceili dances were a real hit, I couldn't have asked for anything better. The guys were polite, professional, quick to return emails, and excellent musicians. We got married in the garden at my family home in South Dublin last month. My husband is French Italian and many flew over to join in on the celebrations. For this reason we decided to give them a real treat and go for an Irish twist to the ceremony and through the drinks reception. It was the best decision we could have made and we have been receiving many compliments on our choice in music. The guests have said that it was just like a fairytale or scene in an Irish movie. The pieces that Ciaran recommended worked beautifully and really did lift the garden with magical tunes. We almost regret not having them stay on right through the evening! We are so pleased to have met them and would not hesitate in getting these guys along again for any party or family occasion. They sure know how to fill the place with a great atmosphere! We can't say enough good things about these guys. We got married in February this year and booked Craddog with no prior knowledge of the band after acting on a recommendation as we live in the UK. Probably the best decision we made with regards to our wedding. The guys didn't just play a fantastic set, they completely ran the evening for us, making sure our guests were up and dancing all night and entertained from the word go.

Craddog was a pleasure to work with especially considering we could not meet them in person prior to the wedding. They really put our minds at ease and were very professional.
The performances themselves were great. All of our friends and relatives commented at how lucky we were to find such a great band from so far away. The wedding was in Galway but they had no problem driving from Dublin and then traveling between the wedding site and reception site that were an hour apart. They really did a good job interacting with the guests during the performances. What great guys! Do yourself a favor a hire Craddog immediately! Thanks for everything.

You guys are absolutely amazing the church music was so appropriate and beautiful and so entertaining at the same time, it had all of our guests in great spirits. The drinks reception was such great crack i even had some guests up dancing, They all commented on how mch fun they had at the drinks reception when we were off getting our pictures taken! The D.J at the end of the eveing was also fantastic and just finished the whole day off. I am so delighted i choose Craddog to provide the entertainment for our wedding day, your professionalism and skills as musicians absolutely made our day so thank you.

On paper Craddog were exactly what we were looking for, without seeing them perform or knowing anything about them apart from what I read on their website I took a gamble and booked them, as the day got closer I was getting nervous over my booking and decided to meet the band a couple of weeks before the wedding, the guys were very reassuring and asked us exactly what we wanted and promised to deliver on the day, the day arrived and so did Craddog, from start to finish Craddog were with us all the way and pulled off a first class performance, I cant fault anything, 2 things that really stood out which were 2 things that I was most nervous off were the church music and the crowd interaction, both of which were talked about for days afterwards by our guests as being something they had never seen before and were the best they had seen at any wedding, the guys also played at our drinks reception which also wowed the crowd as did their DJ who played when the band finished, our big day was a huge success and part of this was down to Craddog, I highly recommend them, they may come across as a traditional Irish group only but the guys play a bit of everything to cater for everyone, from Irish, pop and rock, there crowd interaction was brilliant, they had everyone on the dance floor taking part in all sorts from games to a ceili, I had a fussy Bride with high standards to impress on the day and Craddog saved my life, thanks guys.

We booked Craddog for our wedding on 19th August. They kept the guests well entertained during the arrival drinks reception and for the evening entertainment, the dance floor was full all night, which is always the sign of a good wedding band! They had all of the guests up trying out their Irish dancing skills, which is quite an achievement when you consider that we had guests from Japan, Spain and America, as well as Ireland! And as a special treat, the bride got to perform on the bodhran, which came as a big surprise to everyone, especially the groom! Craddog were also able to learn off a Japanese tune, which they performed very well at the end of the night. An excellent performance from an excellent band!

We cannot recommend Craddog Irish Music Events highly enough to add that special atmosphere to your wedding day...We held our wedding in Finnstown Country House Hotel in June. As we were having a civil ceremony on site at the hotel, we wanted to put a real effort into choosing our ceremony music to "warm it up" as sometimes civil ceremonies can be quite quick and it's nice to personalize them. As we wanted to have traditional music, I found Craddog on this website and got in touch with Ciaran who invited us along to see them in action in O' Neills on Suffolk Street. Craddog are absolutely brilliant musicians and singers and have an amazing range of music from traditional Irish to modern. They were complete professionals to deal with and we had no doubt that we were in great hands. We chose our specific songs for the ceremony itself and to be honest for the drinks reception we just asked them to play what they thought would work, which saved us a lot of hassle in preparation -they told us they always adapt their set to suit the crowd and they did an amazing job. One of my best memories of the day was waiting on the red carpet to go up the aisle and taking in the warm, special atmosphere from the crowd and the music. While we were having our photos taken after the ceremony, our friends and family thoroughly enjoyed Craddog's performance and so many people asked us where we found such a brilliant band. If you're thinking of trad music for your wedding ceremony, drinks reception or full evening reception, make sure you get in touch with Craddog to see where they might be playing so you can go along to see them for yourself!

I booked Craddog over the internet, taking a chance after only just reading through their website. I had no personal references to go on. I have to say that they lived up to the hopes and expectations I had going into my 40th birthday party. They were absolutely brilliant and when I received comments on how good the band were, I knew I made the right choice. Afterall, if your guests are not happy with the music, then something has gone wrong. Some guests even asked if there were CD's available. Once the CD comes out in a couple of months, there will be some willing purchasers.
I can not fault Craddog in anyway. Not only are they very musically talented, but the manner in which they go about their business is top notch. A very professional outfit and they made the organisation of the entertainment for my birthday so much easier and enjoyable. Even their DJ who played out the night after the band got the mood of the evening very quickly.
And if you think they are a good traditional ceili band, think again. The contemporary set they played, ion addition to the traditional, was fantastic.
I couldn't recommend these guys more. They are brilliant.

We would recommend this band. They were very professional - easy to deal with and they went out of their way to facilitate us. Great, lively musicians and the caller was excellent, she was fantastic with the children. Our guests loved them and we are really glad we chose them for our wedding as they really added to the occasion.

A massive thank you for doing such a great job at our wedding in July. The music was fantastic, there was a great mix between freestyle and interactive dancing. We had an international wedding and all our guests commented on how much they loved the music and dancing, the whole evening was really excellent. Thanks for making sure that I won against my husband in the singing competition! Just to echo other comments, everyone in the band where so pleasant to deal with from the run up on the our wedding and on the evening itself. I would not hesitate to recommend Craddog, and even the hotel manager asked us who they band where the following day and said he thought they were really great!

Planning your wedding comes with a bit of pressure as many of us know and it can be difficult to find someone in among all the advertising and 'business' who fits your idea for your day. I contacted Ciaran from Craddog as I had really been through the mill trying to find a really good band. I have been in touch with many people and seen many bands during planning and I can safely say, without any hesitation, that Ciaran from Craddog was easily the most pleasant, helpful, down to earth, friendliest person I came across. He couldn't do enough to help me and for that I am very grateful. He's also the only person I felt like I could really trust to make sure everything would go brilliantly. A bonus- fantastic musicians and great correspondence - Highly recommended (and that's from a very tough and fussy bride to be!!)
