Amazing cake! GBC cakes did a fantastic job and our guests were delighted with the cake! Also the pricing was super reasonable.

From day one Gareth was so friendly and helpful while responding very quickly to all my questions (which was alot). He made the stressful process of deciding on what type of cake, design and picking flavours so easy and as relaxed as possible. Not only did our cake and cupcakes look amazing, they tasted so so good and some guests at our wedding even took some of the leftover cake home to have because it was that tasty. We even went back to Gareth for my mams 60th birthday cake. Highly recommend!

I know Gareth and family for a long time now didn't even look at other wedding cake suppliers knew that he was the one for the job and by god did he deliver everyone raved about his cake and his attention to detail was amazing my husband is very fuzzy with carot cake and he only like Gareth since the wedding doesn't come up to Gareth cake standard if I get one in shop as a dessert for a treat

We had three layers, lemon drizzle, rocky road and the red velvet. All were delicious but the red velvet tier was just to die for, so soft and light. Gareth made our beautiful wedding cake and it was delicious. We had so many compliments on the day. Gareth was great communicating throughout the planning process and we really enjoyed our cake tasting allowing us to choose the flavours we both really liked.

Gareth could not have been more helpful. Everything about our experience with GBC cakes was flawless. The design, communication, taste, absolutely everything. We decided to use our wedding cake as a surprise gender reveal for our guests. This was no issue for Gareth and it really added to the excitement of the day. Nobody was expecting it. He also included a little dog figure to represent our fur baby. All in all, I could not recommend GBC cakes enough.

Gareth was just a dream to have as our wedding cake maker for our wedding. From the day we called to his house for the testing and all the flavours were so nice i could not decide what to go for. Was nearly adding an extra tier as was so torn between the lemon cake & the baileys with oreo filling. I told gareth what i pictured and he had it to a tee. Down to the pink roses to go with the theme. Cake was delivered to hotel and set up with no hassle for me but a quick message of reassurance that all was in place. I could not recommemd GBC cakes highly enough. A true gent.

We are so happy we found GBC cakes to make our wedding cake. It was absolutely stunning but also very tasty. Gareth was a pleasure to deal with and the whole experience was exciting and stress free. There was a large selection of flavours to choose from, we had chocolate biscuit, Black Forest and whiskey cake for each different layer and each was equally delicious and the cake was beautifully presented on the big day. Gareth is absolutely amazing at what he does. From the first time I contacted him to see if he was available until the day of the wedding everything was just so easy. He made the most amazing 3 tier semi-naked cake with fresh flowers. It looked fantastic and the three flavours we picked were just amazing. We had so many compliments on the cake as we decided to cut the cake after the wedding ceremony so our guests could enjoy it with their pre-dinner drinks. I could not reccommend Gareth highly enough.

Gareth was fantastic to work with. He was very quick to respond to my emails and was very flexible and accommodating with all my ideas.
The cake turned out amazing, even better than I could have imagined. The lemon drizzle cake and white chocolate and honey comb biscuit cake taste incredible. The hardest part was picking the flavours because they all taste delicious.
We had our baby christened recently and we didn't hesitate in going back to Gareth for the christening cake and would reccomend him to anyone looking for an occasion cake.

We chose Gareth to make our wedding cake and it was the best decision we made throughout the wedding planning. Gareth made us feel so relaxed and nothing was too much trouble especially planning threw the pandemic and having to change our date 3 times. Gareth made our wedding cake back in October and not only was the cake identical to a picture I had sent him but each tier had a different flavour which were all amazing. We choose Chocolate biscuit, red velvet, baileys madeira and lemon drizzle and they exceed my expectation. The tasting box has so many gorgeous flavours its hard to narrow it down. Would definitely order again for other occassions and highly recommend.

Gareth made us the most beautiful three tier cake for our wedding day last month. Not only did it look stunning but it tasted delicious. The cake box was such a treat and in the end we went with chocolate biscuit, red velvet and lemon drizzle and each tier was as nice as the other! We cannot thank you enough. I will definitely be ordering again from Gareth for any upcoming special occasions!

We had a lovely tasting box from Gareth with all the cake flavours to choose from.
It was a nice thing to do during lockdown and helped us choose our 3 different tiers.
The design of our cake was so amazing, all of our guests were blown away by it!
Loved it and really didn?t want to cut it (ruin it!)
We went for lemon drizzle, red velvet and coffee with an espresso cream filling.
The flavours were so delicious and Gareth made my vision into a reality!

Gareth what can we say you are absolutely amazing and we really cant thank you enough for all your help and assistance over the last year. I'm sure it has been so stressful for you with all the chopping and changing we had to do but nothing was a hassle and you were always so calming to chat with.
We had to Change or date from April to November due to the Covid 19 pandemic. When November came we decided to pull the date again and decided on a date in January 2021. Due to the governments new measures announced for weddings after 2nd of January we were lucky enough to tie the knot on the 31st of December. Gareth got 2 days notice to make our wedding cake and still managed to work his magic and made us the most elegant and delicious cake we ever could have asked for.
We chose his White Chocolate and Honeycomb Biscuit cake for our base tier and all I can say is WOW this is a real treat, I didn't want to share it with anyone. We then chose Lemon Drizzle with lemon curd filling, there was a fantastic flavour from this cake and you could really taste the tang of the lemon and the lemon curd was so silky smooth. Our top tier was Red Velvet filled with Cream Cheese and Passion fruit Buttercream. It was so light, the filling was so creamy and not to sweet or overpowering with cream cheese and the passion fruit gave it a lovely bump.
The cake was elegantly iced and finished with flowers and greenery which was all provided by Gareth so it took the hassle out of it for us having to order extra flowers. Gareth Even gave us advice on the best cake topper to choose.
Brides and Grooms all I can say is don't pass this man. He is just so nice to deal with, so professional and all willing to give the best advise to suit your needs.
As i said he only ended up getting 2 days notice to make our cake and he still didn't let us down.
We Can't wait to use GBC Cakes again. It was the best experience I've ever had and we really can't Thanks Gareth enough.

Gareth was lovely to work with from start to finish. So friendly and open to designs. Our wedding cake was amazing, our guests were in raves about it. They demolished it, so glad we stayed with the original sized cake even though we had a smaller wedding. Several took his details to enjoy more in the future. Gareths biscuit cake is honestly the nicest we have ever had, it just melts in your mouth. Cannot wait for another excuse for a party to order more!

Thanks so much for your help choosing our wedding cake Gareth! The tasting was relaxed and very enjoyable and the cakes all tasted fantastic. We ended up going for a four teir semi naked cake with the chocolate biscuit cake, lemon drizzle, carrot cake and salted caramel. What can I say about Gareth. From the start he was 100% professional and accommodating. I simply had to explain the style I like and the colours I wanted and Gareth understood straight away. I did not have to give the cake a second thought after that as I trusted Gareth 100%. Poor Gareth even had to deliver that cake with the help of the River Rescue in the worst snow storm we've ever seen as we got married on the 2nd March this year. When the country came to a stand still. When all our other suppliers were cancelling due to the snow Gareth made sure at all costs that we had our cake for our wedding day. I really couldn't thank him enough. Plus it tasted amazing. I would recommend Gareth to anyone that would listen to me.

Gareth made our wedding cake in July. From start to finish it was a pleasure to work with him. I had an idea in my head of what I wanted. I took pictures of different cakes to show him the overall colours and designs I wanted and left it all in his capable hands. The cake Gareth produced was absolutely to a T what I had in my head. For someone to be able to piece together exactly what I wanted from so many different pictures and ideas is amazing.

The cake not only looked amazing but tasted out of this world. The only cake left was the cake I had the hotel save for me. Which might I add travelled to Australia the following tuesday and still tasted beautiful.
