Sunflower Design florists was set up in late 2005 by Eileen Fagan and Stuart Mc Glynn. Since then we have built a reputation for quality and service which sees the vast majority of our work coming as a result of couples recommendation and referral. The primary focus of the business has always been on providing Bespoke Wedding Floristry to couples in the Leinster region.
The structure of the business differs from that of most other Florists in that we operate on a freelance basis from a workshop rather than a high-street premises. This enables us to provide a much more flexible, cost effective, one to one service to our clients.
Working from a budget (set by YOU) we offer help and advice on the types of wedding flowers available and the size, colour and proportion of arrangements, to achieve a look that is not only stylish, practical and personalised but also cost effective. We understand that every couple want the best for their wedding day but we are also mindful of the financial and emotional strain planning even a small wedding can create.
We have built an excellent reputation within the industry over the past number of years because of our dedication to three basic principles: High Quality Product, Fair Pricing Structure and Dedicated Customer Care.

Eileen did our beautiful flowers for our wedding in December and she did an absolutely amazing job. After a consultation meeting, Eileen was able to recreate what I envisioned for the day and I am so happy we choose her for our wedding day. She made our bouquets, button holes and unity candle arrangement for the church ceremony. The flowers were so fresh and lasted days later. Eileen was also very helpful in choosing the flowers and has a great knowledge of what flowers work well together. She spent the time discussing all the different options with myself. She is very positive and friendly. Eileen was a great support on the morning of the wedding also, as she was fixing my dress and placing the buttonholes on the groomsmen. It was great to have her there on the morning of the wedding. Thank you so much Eileen.

When we first met Eileen I knew we'd made the right choice. It was a family affair when we all arrived down to her studio. I'm not an expert on flowers but I knew what I liked and didn't like and like a true professional Eileen could see my vision and she brought it to life. Everything from start to finish, from communication to the Wedding day, Eileen was a dream and everyone commented on not only the flowers but on how lovely she was too. She's such a warm person and her passion for flowers shines through plus she really knows what she's talking about, I trusted her and knew she'd put together something beautiful but she exceeded that. What can we say about Eileen and Sunflower design, apart from we had the most amazing experience you could ever ask for. Eileen is an amazing beautiful person whose knowledge of botany absolutely blew us away. We came to Eileen with two requirements, to make our wedding flowers as environmentally friendly as possible, but to also make them as beautiful as possible. Now as two people who really had no idea and somewhat lacked a creative flare we were fully riding on Eileen?s talent and ability.
Eileen was able to deliver the most amazing flower arrangements, bouquets, button holders and even stepped in to provide flowers for the bridesmaids hair, last minute ceremony roses and help with the decoration of cheese wedding cake. She truly went above and beyond to help us and was so much fun to chat to and hang out with. If we have any regrets, it would be not having invited her to the whole wedding day to enjoy it with us.
If you are lucky enough to book Eileen, you are truly in talented hands and in great company.

On a recommendation from a Facebook request that I posted on Celbridge Information just a mere month before my son?s and daughter in laws wedding, I contacted Eileen. From the very moment I called her she immediately put my mind at ease and I knew I could totally trust her. I needed 4 bridesmaids bouquets along with the bridal one, several small buttonhole ?bouquets ? and sprays for both sides of the main aisle with ribbons and flowers. Now the request was for natural and wild themed bouquets! Eileen pulled out all the stops sent me several ideas and photos which I, in turn, had to send on to my daughter in law in Canada for selection and approval. We couldn?t have been happier on the day of the wedding with Eileen?s amazing bouquets and creations which exceeded our expectations and were hugely admired by all the guests! She is so professional and caring that she personally delivered the bouquets to the hotel and actually pinned on all the button holes to the lapels of the wearers! The flowers were just breathtaking, colourful and natural looking so top marks to Eileen for fulfilling our request above and beyond our expectations. She?s a true legend and I would highly recommend her to any perspective bridal party. I should also add that the price she charges for her work is extremely reasonable compared to other florists. Eileen is a real gem.

We chose Eileen for our flowers based on her great reviews & we were not disappointed. Eileen is AMAZING. She was so professional yet good craic & always lightened the mood. She dropped our bouquets to the hotel before the church & I felt like crying when I saw them- they were everything I had asked for and more. She listened to what we wanted and delivered. Eileen was also at the church and fixed my veil etc before I walked up the aisle, she was truly amazing. A nicer woman you could not find. So many guests asked us who did our flowers because they loved them so much. We 110% recommend Eileen, she is an absolute Gem. Such a lovely person with a passion for all things flowers. I can't praise Eileen enough for her amazing work - I had a very specific vision for my wedding flowers (sunflowers, autumn leaves, pumpkins, floral crown) and Eileen made everything into a reality. She's so kind, so funny, and just made the process so easy - it was honestly magical to see how she'd put everything together in the church and the venue and in the photos, it looks incredible. We were recommended Eileen by some friends who she did flowers and decorations for their wedding. We had heard great things about her but the experience we received from Eileen was more than we could have ever asked for. From my first phone call with Eileen, she was very professional, kind and I just knew she understood exactly the look we were going for. She gave us ideas that we would never have even thought off and that?s the detail that makes everything more special on your wedding day. Eileen was so accommodating and her bubbly personality and genuine kindness and loveliness was just so special and really added to the build up of our big day. The colours and the way the flowers, bows, candles and lanterns were arranged were beyond beautiful and everyone at our wedding commented on how beautiful everything was arranged. Eileen was great at handling all of the prep for our flowers. She was able to source and design a dream bouquet for us at a very fair value, even with flowers that wouldn't have normally been available at this time of year.
She was also extremely flexible allowing us to adjust the bouquets to make just the right tweaks. She has a very keen eye for style and made the floral arrangements so pretty that our guests commented that we must have spent much more on flowers than we actually did.

Eileen and Stuart are excellent at what they do. We organized everything during lockdown so was done through email and messages, Eileen gave me lots of options, ideas and advice. I know nothing about flowers and sent a picture of what I was thinking of and what I received was even better, I was absolutely delighted with them. They delivered the buttonholes to the lads, then bouquets to me and then headed off to arrange the church flowers. Absolutely excellent service. Eileen gave us advice on how to hold the bouquets correctly (believe me this makes a huge difference in the photos) also how to attach buttonholes and corsages properly. I also got bouquets for both our mams and some grave arrangements which were beautiful. I highly recommend Eileen and Stuart they are so friendly, professional and reasonably priced

From the moment I met with Eileen, I knew we would be in good hands! Such a personable lady and so helpful. We were due to get married in May but Covid had other ideas- Eileen couldn't have been more supportive around rescheduling and nothing was too much hassle. Our flowers were just stunning! Eileen was an absolute pleasure to deal with. From the first consultation, right through to the day itself she really puts in a huge amount of effort, produces amazing flowers and personally delivered the flowers to both houses the morning of the wedding. She is very good value for money, and even went above and beyond to help fix my wedding dress outside the church before walking up the aisle! We really appreciate the quality and friendliness throughout the process, we highly recommend her!

Eileen created the flowers for our wedding and I couldn?t recommend her highly enough!! From the very start she was an ease to work with and extremely professional! She is so creative and takes in everything that you say!! She provides an excellent service and decorated the church beautifully! To say I was surprised at her cost was an understatement!! I couldn?t believe the value for money! When I arrived at the church Eileen was still there and even helped me out of the wedding car! She has such attention to detail that she wants to make sure everything is perfect including your bouquet upon arrival! Our Wedding was June 8th 2013- Only back from Honeymoon-Eileen made such an inpact on our day that I couldn't wait to recommend her! I found Eileens details on WOL Like most brides I really didnt know where to start, From the first meeting Eileen guided us threw....She knew exactly what style of flowers suit which dress, where flowers were needed in the church and where I would be wasting money! Eileen stayed with me up until I walked down the aisle it was like having my own wedding planner, Her attention to detail was exceptional-I am an extremely fussy person when it comes to attention to detail and I couldn't recommend her highly enough. Eileen did our wedding on the 6th May this year. I live abroad so finding the right supplier is very hard. Eileen was that lady. Right from the moment we had our first meeting I thought this is a lady who understands how important this day is to me and more importantly knows what I wanted. The communications were very easy through email as Eileen was always there with a reply and input. I had the perfect flowers for the day and really felt that everything I wanted was there on the day right down to the (fake) butterflies. Eileen delivered the flowers to my house on the day of and went over to the church and helped the guys out with their flowers. Not an easy job considering there were 11 guys to get around to. Eileen stayed with me till I was walking up the aisle with my dad which was greatly appreciated.The flowers were everything I had dreamed of and hoped for and I still get people asking who was behind them. One friend commented that she had been to several weddings in the past year and mine were by far the best she had seen.

When I started out looking at flowers I really didn't know what I wanted or how it would all come together but Eileen took the time to sit down with me (and my bridesmaid) and talked me through all the different options, what would work well, alternatives, pricing - everything!
When the flowers arrived on the day I couldn't believe my eyes, they were absolutely gorgeous. Eileen dropped them off, made her way to the groom, the church and waited until we were all wrapped up to tidy up afterwards.

Eileen did the flowers for our wedding at the Station House Hotel and did a fantastic job. We live in Australia and were planning the wedding from here. I found Eileen on Weddings Online and she was so amazing to deal with. She asked me questions about the type of flowers I wanted and had lots of suggestions for flowers in season in December. We met up with her the week before the wedding to go over everything again. She listened to exactly what I wanted and had some great suggestions too. The flowers on the day were perfect and my bouquet, in particular, was exactly what I wanted. Eileen delivered all the flowers in person on the day, travelling to Kilmessan to give the boys their buttonholes. She also came to the rescue and delivered my husband's wedding shoes which we'd forgotten to pack the day before! I would highly recommend Eileen, she was so lovely to deal with, gave us beautiful flowers and was very reasonably priced too. Thank you very much Eileen!

I was recommended Eileen and Sunflower Design by friends who had their flowers designed by her and she was a dream to work with from the start with minimal effort on my part. My bouquet and table centres were unique and beautiful and exactly echoed what I wanted, natural but slightly vintage bouquet and autumnal themed tables with varying sized pumpkins and autumn tones without being halloweeny. Most importantly I didn't have to worry about a budget being blown because apart from being very reasonable, she really works with whatever budget you have. I would like to thank Eileen for doing such a wonderful job and I'm sure the recommendations will continue for her.

Eileen from Sunflower design did AMAZING FLOWERS for me at Ladychapel church and The K Club. Living in the UK but having wedding in Ireland was stressful to say the least but Eileen helped me NOT ONLY with flowers but other planning as well so she went above and beyond her call of duty-Big thank you Eileen !Not only that but we took flowers back home to the UK via rough Irish Sea and they lasted another 2 weeks! If you want quality flowers which are very reasonable and look amazing then Eileen from sunflower design is the Lady to see and nothing is too much trouble for her. All the guests said how beautiful the flowers were especially the arch -and thanks for providing me with jars for candy buffet .Cannot recommend Eileen enough !

Just want to say a huge thanks to Eileen & Stuart at Sunflower Design for your exceptional help for our recent wedding in August in Waterford Castle. I knew when myself and my mother met you first that i had found someone great. You knew exactly what type of flowers would suit me and my wedding before i even told you what i wanted. I was impressed with your vast portfolio and expertise. You asked all the right question, some that i didn't even know mattered but when you explained why it made perfect sense, like what my dress was like, the colour and style of the bridesmaid dresses and what the bridesmaids were like so you could design the perfect bouquets for them and myself.I felt like you knew me and my style after 10 mins! My bouquet was exactly what i imagined and more and was so perfect that i wouldn't have changed a thing, down to the colours, size, style and the little extras. Eileen also made the most amazing flower arch that my guest still speak of. Just home from Honeymoon, Wanted to say a massive thank you for everything. The flowers you did for me for our wedding were beyond amazing, nicer than I imagined. Eileen and Stuart at Sunflower Design were fantastic to work with on the flowers for our wedding and were very helpful with ideas and tips of what to go for. I went to see them with very little idea of what I wanted and came out with lots of great ideas and options at very reasonable prices. I hadn't a clue where to start with floral arrangements, but Eilleen listened to what I had to say, and came up with some great ideas for us to consider, all of which worked well with our venue, colour scheme and within our budget. Eilleen helped us create a look we were really happy with. I'd already signed up to a package for the bridal party flowers with another florist (a decision I soon regretted) before I met Eilleen. Eilleen soon restored my faith in florists and I'm only sorry I didn't find her sooner. She was an absoute pleasure to deal with, and she really went the extra mile to ensure everything looked great on the day.

I had seen recommendations for Sunflower Design on WOL and contacted Eileen about doing the flowers for our wedding in October. She was a pleasure to work with from the start - she has fantastic ideas and is totally happy to work within your budget. She was a great find and made our florist choice an easy one!!! Can't recommend her enough!

I would highly recommend Sunflower Design for anyone planning a wedding. Eileen was recommended to me by a friend. Im not really into flowers but just knew i was supposed to have them at the wedding!! I met with Eileen once and as i was clueless, she made great suggestions and we had everything sorted in that one meeting. Eileen dropped the gorgeous bouquet and button holes up to my house the morning of the wedding and also dropped the thank you bouquets out to the hotel that afternoon, which was a great help. Very professional but personal service

Sunflower Designs were recommended to us by a friend. We met with Eileen about 7-8 months before our big day. Instantly, we liked her. She was so friendly, warm & full of good advice. We knew we didn't have to meet with any other florists-she was the one!I didn't want the usual roses, I wanted Autumn colours & her recommendation of flowers & colours were spot on!In the run up to the wedding she was helpful with advice & information. I knew I could trust her judgement & that she understood what I was looking for. On the morning of the wedding she personally delivered the flowers to me. I was speechless. They were absolutely beautiful & so amazing! They were beyond perfect! My bouquet was exquisite & the 2 bridesmaids had a corsage on a pearl bracelet & they were pieces of art! The buttonhole flowers were in full bloom & spectacular in colour. The flower girls flower wands were fantastic. We were so happy with all the flowers & arrangement's. Everybody loved them & the colours were far more amazing than I could have imagined! To top it all off with their professional service Eileen came back to the church just as I arrived & helped with my dress before I walked up the aisle. I would have no problems in recommending Sunflower Designs to anybody!! Thank you so much Eileen & Stuart.

Eileen from Sunflower Design is an absolute pleasure to work with and I could not recommend her enough to brides to be. She is extremely professional in all that she does and she is very attentive and perceptive as to what floral arrangements will suit your wedding. Eileen designed beautiful floral arrangements for the altar and stunning bouquets for myself and my bridesmaid in autumnal reds, yellows and oranges. Eileen is very creative and really listens to what a bride would like. Bad experiences with phonecalls to several other florists confirmed that Eileen was the florist to work right from our first relaxed phone conversation. Eileen works to your ideas and has ideas as to how to maximise your floral budget for your wedding that do not compromise on style or creativity. She also goes the mile to help and in my case she drove back 3 kms to the hotel to collect my flowers which I had left behind at reception by accident.
